If you were a castmember...

Just wondering what everybody's dream job would be at WDW. Of course I don't mean the big decision making or high paid excecutive kinds of jobs. I mean the fun in the parks kind of jobs.

Mine would be to work the Haunted Mansion. I love the cast member's attitudes at that attraction. BOO!!

I always have wanted to be a lifeguard at Typhoon Lagoon that teaches the surfing clinic. I love teaching people things, and the smile they achieve after standing up is rewarding.

As a studio owner/dance teacher, I would love to choreograph for the shows in the park. One of my past students is a choreographer in AK and she absolutely loves it. She's been there for many years and hopes to retire from there.
Any job would be great, not sure I would do well with the food & beverage area though. I'd make a lousy waitress - spilling drinks on the guests, I shutter to think about it.
Guess I should stick to dancing!

When I do the College Program in spring 2007, I'd like to either work in the Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, or Carousel of Progress(providing it is still open). In the Haunted Mansion and Tower of Terror you get to be creapy and scary.

I wouldn't want to work in the parks. I think I would want to either:
A - drive the monorails
B - Engineer the train (if I had to work in the parks)
C - drive a Disney bus (so I can spew off knowledge of WDW and bring people to the happiest places)

Haunted Mansion. No doubt about it.

Otherwise, ToT. Outside the parks, I'd love to drive the patrol boats around the lagoons, looking for troublemakers in their watermice.

Kilimajnjaro Safaris! I would LOVE to be able to ride around and see the animals at all different times of the day. Plus, I'd get to be outside all day which is great because I hate being inside all the time :(

I would work at any ride with guest interaction. A few of my favorite ones would be a monorail pilot, working in the HM, ToT, and being a skipper on the Jungle Cruise.

I would like to work at RnRC to be able to listen to all that great, loud Aerosmith music all day and still be at WDW. I also would not mind being Mickey or Minnie's cast member escort. That way you could see all those happy faces when they finally meet their favorite Disney character.

My dream CM job would either be at the HM or TOT. These attractions are where the CM roles are best integrated into the attraction story lines. However, I would also love to intern in the Land hydroponic lab and hope to do so in the College program within the next few years.

But I also enjoy being a TDS CM.

I would like to ge a greeter at the HM but I could not keep the straight face. So I would go with monorail driver. Could I wear my iPod while driving? :animwink:

So many choices! :brick:

Probably my top choice would be as a tour guide for Backstage Magic. I'd love to let folks in on the secrets. Beyond that, there are several CM positions that are in a 'dead heat.'

In no particular order...

+ Haunted Mansion, working the elevator.
+ Space Mountain.
+ Living with the Land, boat 'pilot'/guide.
+ Jungle cruise skipper.
+ Monorail pilot.
+ Kilimanjaro Safaris, driving.
+ If I had to do retail, it would be at the Lego store at DD.

Of course, it wouldn't be bad to be a 'secret shopper' whose entire job is to spend all day every day in the parks seeing how well other CMs are doing :)

By the way -- remember the old EPCOT Center commercial? How cool would it have been to be the Mickey standing on top of Spaceship Earth waving to a helicopter camera?
