If you had to pick 1 attraction/pavillion from each park in Disney World to get rid o

Magic Kingdom- Stich's Great Escape (god i hate Stich, so, so, much. Plus Alien Encounter was one of the most original ideas they ever had.)

Epcot- The Wonders of Life (it's really become useless. plus I really don't care for Body Wars)

MGM Studios- Sounds Dangerous (I want the Monster Sound Show back! Watchign people keep up with the overly energetic Martin Short and Chevey Chase was great. oh and by the way, Drew Carrey IS NOT FUNNY!!!!)

Animal Kingdom- Choose a part of that blasted Dino-Themed Carnival at random. (this is just not "Disney" in anyway. if I want carnival type rides and stupid "win a doll" games, I'll just go to Seaside Heights here in NJ.)

Oh and on a side note, I really hate seeing McDonald's French Fries carts all over. That is SOOO Six Flags Great Adventure.

MK- Aladdin's Carpets...they are in the way, just an eyesore
EPCOT- Definitely Leave a Legacy
MGM- Sounds Dangerous...but is actually BORING
Animal Kingdom - all the Dino-themed carnival-type rides as stated earlier

BTW, I was really shocked to see so many responses to get rid of the classic Disney things such as Dumbo, Swiss Family Treehouse, etc.

Magic Kingdom - tie between Tom Sawyer's Island or the Indy Speedway... both huge areas of NOTHINGness.
-- sidenote - i worked on the Swiss Family Treehouse, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin and The Enchanted Tiki Room, and i LOVE THEM - but i do agree with earlier posts - treehouse UPDATE with some animatronics maybe, that tell the story of the Swiss Family's situation, or yes... to Tarzan...(isn't there a remake of Swiss Family coming out next year though?) Magic Carpets - i LOVED working this ride although i think disney has overkill on the type of ride that this is... couldn't they be more creative? but with the room they were trying to fill, this ride does it's job... and TIKI's... OH GOSH- i have SO many ideas for this show, i don't even know where to begin... haha

Epcot - Ellen's Energy Adventure... leave Ellen, change the adventure... and please do something new and exciting with the WoL pavillion... PLEASE?

The Disney MGM-Studios - isn't Beauty and the Beast looking crappy these days? i can't even watch it anymore - it needs to be enclosed, and redone, or bring something new to this stage- but still enclose it... Orlando is hot in the summer... heck the winter too...

DAK - i say don't take anything out because this park is gonna be like... KABAAAAAM when EE opens, and it will need more attractions to satisfy the growing number of guests - although i HATE dinorama... but it's still really popular.

Magic Kingdom - Stitch's Great Escape (In all fairness, I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard virtually NO good reviews on it. Plus, I thought AE pretty much was a big disappointment, and it sounds like Stitch is not all that different).

Epcot - Journey Into Your Imagination (Disney needs to face the fact that they just can't capture the magic of the original. They should let this one die and rest in peace).

MGM - Indiana Jones Stunt Show (I just think this one has outlived it's welcome. They should clear that area for something really cool).

Animal Kingdom - Tarzan Rocks (One of the worst shows I have ever seen. Has nothing to do with the story of Tarzan....In fact, has NO story whatsoever. Just a bunch of skateboarding stunts. A HUGE waste of space. The Jungle Book show was so much better).

E- Ellen's Energy Adventure
MGM- Indiana Jones-Epic Stunt Spectacular (replace with Indiana Jones Adventure)
AK- Tarzan Rocks

MK - Swiss Family Tree house (2nd place Hall of Presidents)

MGM - Indiana Stunt show (make room for the ride!)

AK - Kali River Rapids (This could be good if it lasted more than 10 seconds)

Epcot - Space Ship Earth (It's hard to pick just one)

I love disney, but of all four parks Epcot needs the most work. I drag myself to this park each time and leave wondering if it was worth it

MGM Studios: Sounds Dangerous (this is an attraction?!?!); I would replace it with a scary Alien Encounter-type attraction, where the emphasis is on the scary sounds.

Epcot: Journey into Your Imagination; I would replace it with a longer more elaborately produced experience, like the original ride was.

Animal Kingdom: Never been!

Magic Kingdom: Tough one. The aliens will have to do their worst...

MK- Speedway or the Galzy Palace Theater/Tommorowland Skyway station

Epcot- A Wonders of Life mercy killing

MGM- Playhouse Disney Live on Stage!, The bargain basement Animation Tour, and Superstar Television theater.

DAK- Pocahontas, Festival of The Lion King, and Tarzan Rocks

I will not dignify with a response the fact that people want to get rid of Stitch and haven't been on it yet.

Sounds Dangerous (this is an attraction?!?!); I would replace it with a scary Alien Encounter-type attraction, where the emphasis is on the scary sounds.

Sounds Dangerous uses AE's binaural sound. The attraction is built on scary noises, that's the entire gimmick of the show!

Epcot: World Showcase ZZzzz

You can't be serious, right?

STUDIOS: Indy (replace with DL Indy attraction)

Why do you think the imagineers tricked management into putting in Motors Action? Don't worry, the stunt show and part of the parking lot have been ear marked for years for the ride. Odds are we will be getting it fairly soon after Motors opens up. It will probably be the Tokyo version however.

Epcot - Space Ship Earth (It's hard to pick just one)

That's just blasphemy

MGM - Sounds Dangerous (replace with Cinemagic)

Out of curiousity, have you ever seen Cinemagique'? Yes it is indeed one of the, if not the finest show ever created by Disney. However it is a show designed for a very large space with several lighting and in theater effects that wouldn't work at all in the super tiny Sounds Dangerous theater. Maybe they could put it in the old Superstar theater but even that is really streching it.

Magic Kingdom: Tear down the Indy Speedway for new land devolpment. Tear out the unused Galaxy Palace Theatre and Tomorrowland Skyway Station. Tear out the Plaza Pavillion. Tear out the Adventureland Veranda and redo as a nice, table service eatery. Anything which is unused must go. There's not enough room anymore to dilly-dally around.

Epcot: Wonders of Life needs to go. I enjoy this pavillion a lot, but it's time to start over. Innovations is starting to look better, so I'll give it a pass for now. Everything else in Epcot either isn't going anywhere or is fine, IMO.

MGM: At this point, I'm in favor of tearing out the entire Animation courtyard and starting over. The Animation building is just a depressing reminder of that old slap in the face and is a sad, grade-D version of DCA's inspiring Animation Building. Playhouse Disney is just embarassing. Voyage of the Little Mermaid has seen better days... the rest is all just shops. Nice shops, but shops....

As for Indy, I bet we'll have the ride in there in the next five years.

Animal Kingdom: Camp Minnie-Mickey. All of it. I think Dino-Rama is kind of 'cute', although it's far from my favorite thing. I personally think shoehorning Aladdin into Adventureland was far more offensive (and I like the Carpets...). But Camp Minnie-Mickey is just a big waste of time and can be painlessly removed from the park layout.

I base my reasoning here on what could be painlessly removed from the parks to make way for something new and/or improved. A lot of people, I bet, are going to call me out on Wonders of Life or keeping Dino-Rama... but Dino-Rama isn't going anywhere soon, folks. Neither is Universe of Ellen (one of the best things at Epcot, in my mind). I'd much sooner get rid on unused space than remove things I don't personally approve of.

Magic Kingdom: Swiss Family Treehouse

EPCOT: Take your pick of the movies in World Showcase

Studios: The Sorceror's Hat - sorry, I know this isn't an attraction or pavilion, but none of the attractions offend my sensibilities. I don't care for Sounds Dangerous, but I believe a studio park needs a sound effects attraction, and I won't ever go to Millionaire, but some people love it, so my vote defaults to the Hat.

Animal Kingdom: Conservation Station. :hurl:

Let's not get rid of things that are really popular with guest, like the Speedway, Festival of the Lion King, Peter Pan's Flight, and the Indiana Jones Stunt Show. I can understand taking things out that are not being visited, but these have lines, which is always a good sign that people like them. If they did not like it, why would they stand in line for it?
