If you could, would you switch Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor for the actual ride in DL?

Why not both? A scaled back Laugh Floor would be a great "next gen" queue setting for a Monsters Inc dark ride.

I actually really like the MI Laugh Floor as an attraction experience, and how it expands on the Turtle Talk concept in a clever way. The problem with it is how it bends the Tomorrowland theme over backwards to justify the presence of the monsters, and I don't see the ride doing that any better. So no, I wouldn't switch them.

Both the ride and the show would work great at DHS's Pixar Place, IMO. But Tomorrowland could benefit from something more sci-fi/futuristic.

I wouldn't at all. First off, MILF is a pretty enjoyable attraction. If they were to build a dark ride in it's place, it would be a really short one because that space isn't that big.

I'd much rather either get that coaster that was rumored or the TDL ride at Studios next to TSMM.

I would in a second; that ride looks awesome :king:

Trust me, the DLR ride ain't that great. Personally I think any of the dark rides in the MK are equal or better. Very basic AA's. I expected more from a modern day dark ride. Disappointing.

I wouldn't, the Monsters Inc. dark ride is ok, but it is just a dark ride and nothing special, plus it would never fit in the space. I actually like the Lauging Floor and my kids love it so there is no way I would get rid of it. I know a lot of people don't like it in Tomorrowland, but it doesn't bother me anymore than Autotopia or the Nemo Subs in Disneyland.

Why not. It's a nice C Ticket. The space is bigger than it looks- Buzz fits into CV theatres elsewhere. TLF was a concept looking for an attraction, one that'd take more load off DHS in a smaller PP expansion.

I tried Tokyo's version and was so so so dissapointed. Yes the sets look great but the relation between the torches and sequences that I have supposedly 'set-off' are so random that it makes the ride rubbish. It might as well just be a regular dark ride to be honest.

But would you want a Monsters Inc dark ride in the studios, or would you want that long rumored "Door Coaster"?

I would not want the ride vs the show, the ride was cute but I did not think it was all that. I thought the show was very funny but that could have been becuase my husband was "that guy" (I think that is what they called him, its been a couple of years)

I'm going to be greedy and ask for both [: it would work too cause the laugh floor can stay in MK and the right can go in DHS, works perfectly with themeing!

Although I'm not sure the dark ride is better than the comedy show, I would take the dark ride 10x over the coaster. The last thing DHS needs is another major ride with a height requirement, while a dark ride would provide DHS the kind of experience the park is sorely lacking.
