If you could save three WDW attractions from EVER being removed or changed, what would they be? Also, what three would you reincarnate from the grave and save, as well?

EDIT: change it to five of each. there are just too many.............

Current Attractions to save:

1. Tomorrowland Transit Authority
2. Walt Disney World Railroad
3. Splash Mountain
4. The Haunted Mansion
5. The Jungle Cruise

Past Attractions to bring back:

1. Horizons
2. World of Motion
3. Journey Into Imagination
4. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
5. The Magic of Disney Animation (back in the days of the ACTUAL studio...nice)

I couldn't care less about those first three being outdated. They meant to much to me to care.

Welp, let's hear it. What about all of you? :)

Positive threads . . . :sohappy:

Save:
1. The Haunted Mansion
2. Pirates of the Caribbean
3. Its a Small World <- did I just say that? (I can't imagine the Magic Kingdom without any of these three)

Bring back:

1. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride (only updated with 3-Dimensional set pieces)
2. Cranium Command. This is such a cute show - I wish they could find a place for it.
3. Davey Crockett Canoes - zipping around the Frontierland waterways was FUN!

Oh my god. I told you I did it quick. Already I'm regretting my post. Let's change the rules to top 5 of each. There are too many to save and bring back for only three...............

Good ones there. ;)

Ooh, thank you so much for changing the rules to five. I couldn't possibly pick only three rides to save and three to bring back. I agree, there are too many to save and bring back for only three choices.

Current Attractions to save:
1. Carousel of Progress
2. Tomorrowland Transit Authority
3. The Haunted Mansion
4. Spaceship Earth
5. Pirates of the Caribbean

Past Attractions to bring back:
1. Horizons
2. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
3. World of Motion
4. Journey Into Imagination
5. 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea

Even though I picked five, I'm still unsure about my current attractions to save! I basically picked the ones that are or have been rumored to be taken down or changed. I would pick Splash Mountain or Test Track, but I'm not worried about those two leaving any time soon.

ok then...5!

TO KEEP:
1-Spaceship Earth
2-Everest (the greatest design of 21st century imaganeering)
3-Haunted Mansion
4-Peter Pan's Flight
5-Space Mountain

TO BRING BACK
1-Mr. Toad, with new effects, of coarse!
2-A animation tour that actually toured an animation department, not a museum
3-Wonders of Life, in a updated form
4-The Enchanted Tiki Room:Under Original Management
5-Tarzan Rocks! But I really shouldn't speek until Nemo Premieres.

Current Attractions to save:

1. Tomorrowland Transit Authority
2. Kilimanjaro Safaris
3. Splash Mountain
4. Spaceship Earth
5. Great Movie Ride

Past Attractions to bring back:

1. Alien Encounter
2. World of Motion
3. Journey Into Imagination
4. The original 2-hour long Disney-MGM Studio tour (I'm a huge old-school Disney-MGM Studios fan.)
5. (might seem lame to most of you, but...) The Discovery River boats of AK. It was the first thing we did at AK on the first weekend of previews of the park, so it's one of my first real memories of the place. The ride was nothing too special, but it is was a nice, relaxing way to kill some time and it also provided some really unique views of the park. (I still have my fingers crossed that we'll see them come back one day.)

Save:

The Jungle Cruise

The Haunted Mansion

Spaceship Earth

"it's a small world"

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Bring Back:

Body Wars

Alien Encounter

Mr Toad's Wild Ride

Horizons (Never got to do it, but everybody raves about it)

The Tiki Room (The ORIGINAL!)

Save

Since the word save has been used, I will not mention things like Tower of Terror, Soarin, Space Mtn...These are staples that I can't imagine losing. So for attractions to save I would offer the following:

1) Carousel of Progress-this always brings a smile to my face, the word "classic" definitely applies

2) Space Ship Earth-while it could use updating, as the landmark of the park it must stay

3) Pirates-clearly with the new movie coming out this is not in danger. However, it is an old school attraction that just screams Disney

4) Star Tours-again, an upgrade would be welcome but I think having the Star Wars connection at MGM is a must have

5) Dinasaur-also not likely on the chopping block but it is an attraction that seems to have missed the "must do" label. I consider it one of my favorites. It is one of a few that I ride multiple times per visit

Bring Back:

I must admit that I can't speak from experience. I never got to ride 20K but it sounded interesting. Ditto for Mr. Toad. I do have one thing I would like to see brought back. I would like to bring back a space of empty ground where Stitch's Great Escape is currently located!

I'm right with ya!

I would like to see the original tour again too. God forbid the people of today have the patience for that.

Exactly how much danger is Muppet Vision 3D in? :(

Probably not much right now. But any filmed presentation is on replacement watch, especially after the length of time it's been there.

Save:
- CoP
- Tom Sawyer's Island
- UoE
- El Rio Del Tiempo (no three cabilerros please!)
- Indy Jones Stunt Show

Bring Back:
- Alien Encounter. It's one of my all-time favorites, and Stitch is a disaster in comparison.
- Original Tiki Room
- Mr Toad
- Horizons
- JII

As a bonus...
- Not really an attraction, but Farmer's Market / Sunshine Season Food Fair. The new fancy food court has got to go!

There are so many other things I'd like to see back...
Skyway - For the view
Double-decker World Showcase Busses - Because they were cool
Kitchen Kabaret - Great show, although I'd hate to see Soarin' go
Expo Robotics - Just plain cool
Mike Fink Keelboats / Frontierland canoes - To add more traffic to the river
The Original Animation Tour - It was a blast
20K - A classic. The ride was epic

Come ride in the canoes with me, Corrus. A little fresh air and fresh water might cool you off.

(Maybe Cranium Command is a stretch, but I am far from the only person who liked Toad and the weasels, and the canoes could return tomorrow with nothing more than an adjustment of the liability insurance premium, right?)

At least I don't pine for the Mickey Mouse Review! *razzberry*
