If you could only pick one singular Disney Park to visit for the rest of your life….

Which would you choose?

I don’t mean WDW vs DL, I mean, say, MK or DAK of EP. Not resort are, but specific park.

My vote’s for Disneyland.

If we’re talking any of the 6 US parks, it’s hard to imagine a better option than Disneyland:
  1. It’s the park Walt built.
  2. It has the most e-tickets: Indiana Jones, Pirates (vastly superior version, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, Rise, Space, Matterhorn, Runaway Railway, etc., plus a massive collection of atmospheric and “supporting role” attractions (train, subs, monorail, Star Tours, Jungle Cruise…
  3. The most diverse collection of environments, from the original Main Street to New Orleans Square to Galaxy’s Edge…

I think Disneyland is the best domestic park. Other parks since do individual things better (theming at AK, dining at EPCOT, etc) but DL still has the best mix top to bottom across different considerations.

No Carousel, no PeopleMover, worse Haunted Mansion, worse Space Mountain.

Because of the structure of the 2 parks, Disneyland has more stuff only because it has fewer parks. They just put stuff like Star Wars and Mickey bc there is no other place to put it. From that perspective, I can't disagree. But for the Magic Kingdom vs traditional Disneyland, I still prefer MK. Although I do miss stuff like Pinnochio and Snow White.

As much as I would miss PeopleMover, Pirates, Haunted Mansion and Carousel of Progress, I have to pick Epcot. Even with all the changes, I fell in love with EPCOT in 1986 and that love has never died. If I can't ride Spaceship Earth or The Land, then it's not a real WDW vacation.

I tend to look at the parks through the eyes of my kids, so it changes for me. First few trips it was MK,( Under the Sea and SDMT) after our last trip it’s DHS. My 10 year old loves MMRR and my 12 year old non-Star Wars fan loved Rise of the Resistance.

Believe it or not, I’ve never been to DLR, and I know it’s got rides that aren’t in MK, but MK has rides that aren’t there…UGH☹️, I still have to pick MK…I’ll be at DL in ‘25 when my daughter graduates out there so maybe I’ll have a different opinion then.

Animal Kingdom all the way. I love the atmosphere and the live animals! Their attractions are fun too and also the shows. Their food is good too and we always eat at Yak and Yeti while there. It is the one park that we visit 2 or 3 times each visit. Each part seems like a little bit of Africa and is immersive. I love MK, but AK is the one I pick.
