If you could only choose two parks for a trip, which would they be and why?

Thinking of maybe doing a very quick Disney trip at the end of summer. Why?
(1) I got sick on the previous trip with a cold/flu/sinus infection..yeah, fun.
(2) I want to get some last time rides on some classic favorites

(This trip might not even take place, but here's hoping.:))

I choose Epcot and AK. Epcot is my husbands favorite park besides world showcase he loves TT and Soarin. My favorite park is AK I love animals so I love the safari and now that Pandora is open its a must do

Same here, Epcot and AK. I have been so many times that I am past the "have to go on all the rides" phase and more into enjoying the atmosphere and getting some good meals in. For me, that is more of a relaxing vacation then when we used to make sure to get on all the rides. I can just sit in the aviary part of Maharajah jungle trek and watch the birds for hours.

Sorry your redo trip isn't happening. Let's hope you can start planning another trip soon.
No worries. I think the next trip we plan will be a Deluxe stay one with Poly for a full week. I haven't stayed there since I was a kid, and only for a couple of days. I want a full weeks worth at the Poly resort :cat: May take a few years to save up for, but worth it. In the mean time, we might be going elsewhere for more relaxation vacations the next few years.

My votes were for #1 MK and #2 would be a tie between Epcot & AK...since AK is stepping up and becoming a nighttime park! But I HAD COSE, I would probably with EPCOT...where you visit 11 different lands and not leave Disney?!?!

Woohoo!! Never mind! The redo is on, tomorrow!!! I really really want to do GMR. It has always been my favorite since childhood in HS. This was a huge surprise for me. I have a one day park hopper, so HS is a definite and I will be doing Magic Kingdom afterwards. Thanks all!

I voted MK and Epcot. Not for the rides though, as I get older I do less and less rides but for me it's all about atmosphere and sensory overload. MK is amazing the way you can go from land to land and have a totally different immersion experience.

I also think they have the best night time shows.

Always the MK, the MK is the heart of WDW and the core of the experience. Nr 2 EPCOT not only because it is the second full day park but also because DHS at the moment is only an empty hull with few attractions remaining until the two expansions open and DAK is still only a half day park IMHO, I have to confess what I heared about Pandora so far is not that exciting that I would consider it the second park. After the DHS expansions are completed I would take DHS as the second park.
