If you could have an Imagineer theme your house...

If you could have an Imagineer theme your home to be like any location in Disney World what would you choose? Keep in mind that you home would still be functional, but with the decorative elements of whatever location you choose.

Mine would be either the Frontierland elements of the Splah Mtn. queue or the inside of the Tiki Room.(Without Iago of course.)

I would love to have the 40's/50's art deco of Disney MGM. I love walking down those streets, especially just after you make the right toward ToT/RnRC.

Exterior...Disneyland's Jungle Cruise boathouse...only liveable.
Interior...Adventurer's Club.
Backyard...pool...with Disneyland's old Skull Rock for a waterfall.

Granted, they're not Imagineers...

but...

Check out "Monster House" on Discovery Channel...

They do this :D

That's where I got the idea. I love the concept of the show, but I'm always a little disappointed by the lack of Disneyesque detail. That's why it would be fun to have real imagineers do the decorating.

Seeing the detail everbody went into I feel the need to append my choice.

Ext:Swiss Family Tree house, with each branch/room being themed to Tiki, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, and the treehouse itself, with a hidden basement themed to Splash...thats sounds much better.

Currently, the theming of my house most closely resembles that of Typhoon Lagoon, in that my three little Imagineers tend to make the house look like a typhoon went through it. :D

But if I had my choice I would have it themed to look like the Polynesian, complete with volcano pool. :D

This isn't really that far off my radar.

I've already designed and sketched out some ideas for my house (my house has 7 rooms...7 themed lands...I think it's a little more than just a coincidence!)

Kitchen: Main Street USA
Dining Room: Liberty Square
Living Room: New Tomorrowland
Master Bedroom: Adventureland
Second Bedroom: Fantasyland (snickers)
Den: Frontierland
Master Bathroom: Mickey's Toontown Fair.

I would want my house to look like the Poly. I would love to have my backyard look like the Luau area of the Poly. I would have the volcano pool and plenty of Tonga Toast to go around.

I would want the front of my house to look like the Main Street Train Station, the back like the Haunted Mansion. I want my living room to be like Tomorrowland, my kitchen would be like Fantasyland. I want my room to have a G-Force Records Studio theme. The bathroom would be a Tower of Terror theme. My pool would be like The Jungle Cruise, and I would have a New York Street forced perspective. I think that's good for now :)

Haunted Mansion all the way. But I'd want to do the construction and art myself, not an imagineer. I get joy and pride in building my own creations.

They had Imagineers design a room on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Those lucky skunks.

I would have each room in my house be designed as different parts of WDW, including resorts.

Den: World Showcase
Sunroom: Polynesian
Living Room: Adventureland
Kitchen: Main Street U.S.A.
Master Bedroom: Grand Floridian
Guest Bedroom: Fantasyland
Other Bedroom: Tomorrowland
Hallways and Restrooms: Future World (so I can have automatic flushers)

Exterior with Pool: Saratoga Springs with the waterfalls and rockwork.
Dogyard: Frontierland

I want the exterior of my house to be like the Grand Floridian.

Entryway like the Haunted Mansion (form the movie, before it went bad)

Kitchen like the 50's Prime Time Cafe

Dining room like the good Haunted Mansion

Family Room like Animal Kingdom Lodge lobby

Living Room like Port Orleans (only because I LOVE that resort)

Laundry room, well I'll have the Imagineer do whatever he wants with Disney in there.

Office themed to Walt's office

Bathrooms all have a nautical theme, one of BB, TL, and the best resort pools (we have 4 full baths)

Basement themed to the Magic of Disney Animation when animators still had a job

Recreational room like Mission:Space

Garage like Test Track

Master Bedroom like the Roy Disney suite at the GF (complete with butler)

Other 4 bedrooms: Tower of Terror
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Splash Mountain

(IF we do get our indoor pool, I'd want it themed to 20K with a touch of the Disney Magic/Wonder with it.)

I think I'm still missing several rooms in my house but that's all I can think of right now.

I would like to have my house themed in combination of Splash Mountain and the Wilderness Lodge. Then I would truely have my own Laughin Place.
