Despite being one of the older attractions at WDW, the Hall of Presidents doesn't seem to look worn or dated and is a great show. My question, if John Kerry gets elected this year, when will he appear in the show? How long did it take for Bush, Clinton etc to be added after they got elected?

It usually takes several months... maybe 6 I'd say, to write a new script, add/program the AA, reprogram/reposition the other AA's, and clean up from that work

Of course, the cheapest alternative would be to drop Kerry and put in Al Gore- (before his wild ranting) and his comfortable robotic form in the Hall of Presidents. You wouldn't even need animatronics, he could stand there himself.

I'm wondering how long this attraction will last until they run out of room, or the political discourse becomes too heated.

Also, I wonder what hyjinx the cast members of this attraction have been up to... A cigar in Clinton's hand would be funny.

How about a Hall of Losers? We could put that in the Villain's Park.

The first part was hilarious.

The second part: If it ever comes down to that, it will be a sad day in America. If we have gone this long being able to happily have two parties and still be Americans no matter what, and then we have to remove something because this country's parties become full of hate, that's sad. Unfortunately this country is becoming more and more divided and I think it's pathetic. You have two parties (one in particular from my personal point of view) that refuses to accept the other, no matter what. I have to say that I am SUPER strong for my certain candidate, and even though I hope mine wins so much that I pray for it, if the other wins, I will never be on a corner screaming about it or threatening to leave the country or refusing to live under his orders. I will be an American and live the next four years with it.

that is truly what's great about this country is that presidents only reign for 4 years and then we get another chance to put a new one in if we are not happy with the current. I think protesting makes this country great as well as a freedom of speech but, I don't think breaking the law in your protesting is what makes this country great. I have a problem when ambulances in NY City cannot get through the streets because of a political protest. I think lives are more important.

Enough with politics but, i had to make that point. I just want everyone to be Americans instead of parties. Parties are great as long as we can live with losing. After all, losing eventually comes along with competing. :D
oh yeah, almost forgot......................USA USA USA USA USA USA!

ok, I'm done. Back to my hole now :(

To your point, I have to say that one of the most moving experiences I've ever had in WDW was when I was in the Hall of Presidents in Dec. of 2001- with 9/11 on everyone's minds. It was one of the more crowded rooms I've seen (especially for Dec.) and when they named George W. Bush, the entire crowd rose and cheered. I said to my girlfriend that I had never seen a crowd that big, and a reaction that strong.

I'm sure this no longer happens, but for a brief moment in time, it was nice to see folks united and behind our President.

Another thing is, Americans seem so quick to forget the devistation that happened on 9/11 or any other tragedy. It's like we always go back to being just like we were before.

If Kerry wins the election I might not be able to back to the World for some time. At least until I get my tax cut back.

Must be nice to buy your own government. I'll take a government for the people and by the people, rather than a government for Haliburton and the rich.

Back on topic.

They could always hang some of the Presidents from the rafters if they get too many. Then they could have them swing out into the audience. :D

Right now disney has $2 million put aside incase Kerry wins. Basically costs to reprogram the AA, build new skin, and resituate the other AA's. Think about it though. If Kerry loses there is $2 million more that will go somewhere else in the park.

*sigh*

Looks like Brer Fox and Brer Bear are causin a bit of commotion downstream.

Please stay in your boats. Your visit to Splash Mountain may discontinue momentarily.

P.S. The Hall of Presidents is an amazing attraction. It's one that can be updated through presidencies, but consistent in our overall view of America. More than anything else, it speeks Magic Kingdom NOSTALGIA. Gimme that score! :D

The original question was not so much Kerry as having an additional president to add. Lets end the politics now while we're only a little in the dumper.
