This is the new and improved Snow White ride, which will be found at Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland, where the ride will first off be renamed Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Anyway, here's what the ride will be like:

The entrance is in the guise of the Queen's castle as usual. You wend your way through the castle as the queue and you then reach the load area. The Dwarf-named mine cars seat six instead of four. Behind the load area is a big mural, showing Snow White and her friends, both Dwarfs and forest animals alike.

The mural for the ride in both parks will be different between them. Here's the one at Disneyland: http://img248.imageshack.us/my.php?image=muralyn7.jpg.
And here's the one at Tokyo Disneyland: http://disney.wretch.cc/Gallery/c01/p20.jpg.

As you board the ride vehicle, you hear the Dwarfs providing the safety spiel. Then once aboard your car, it moves through the first scene: the Queen's castle's courtyard, where you pass by the wishing well and Snow White dressed as a scullery maid. She is sitting on a flight of steps where she is singing "I'm Wishing" to a small flock of doves. The Prince on horseback watches from the other side of the track.

Then you turn away from the castle into a dark forest. Here, you see the huntsman and Snow White as he warns her to flee. Then you pass by the usual scene of the scary forest, which is pretty much the same as usual, only MUCH shorter and involving the addition of a log that falls down toward your vehicle, almost hitting you on the head. Plus, the flying bats are much more convincing now. There are also evil eyes everywhere, too.

Leaving the forest, you then go through the Seven Dwarfs' diamond mine, where you see the Seven Dwarfs working, singing "Heigh-Ho". Here's an image to give you an idea what the Dwarfs inside will look like: http://www.disneylandpostcards.com/fldwarfs.jpg. One of the Dwarfs also tries to stop a runaway cart full of diamonds from crashing into your cart. It kind of looks like a cross between both versions from Disneyland, and by both versions, I mean both "pre-83 and post-83". So it's kind of the best of both worlds.

Then you head out of the mine and pass by the Dwarfs heading for the cottage, singing "Heigh-Ho" still. You then enter the cottage, where you see the Dwarfs and Snow White dancing together to the music of "The Silly Song". Here's a picture to give an idea of what the scene will look like: http://www.tokyodisneyresort.co.jp/tdl/images/pg/fantasy/fantasy_atr02_ph1.jpg.

Upon leaving, you pass below a tree with two vultures perched on it and enter the ominous castle of the Queen. Here, you encounter the Queen with her back to you as she turns into the Witch with the same effect as in Florida. You hear her saying, "Magic mirror on the wall..." and then she turns around and you see that she's become the Witch while she finishes her line with, "I am the fairest one of all!"

After this, the dungeon scene that follows is the same as the other rides, but as with the forest scene, it's much shorter; it only shows the jail cell with the skeleton and the Witch at the cauldron brewing the poison apple while the raven looks on.

From there, you head back to the cottage where we see the Witch handing the apple to Snow White. "Have a bite, deary," she says to Snow White inside the window. You then hear Snow White gasping for air and as you pass by a side window, you see a silhouette of Snow White as she faints while the Witch yells with a cackle, "Now I'm fairest in the land!"

Then we hear the Dwarfs saying that they're going to stop the Witch. "Quick!" one yells. "She's up on the cliff! Let's go!" You then go to the usual scene of the mountain cliff where you see the Dwarfs on the incline as they stand before the Witch, who yells, "You meddling fools! I'll crush your bones!" You see the usual scene of the Witch attempting to roll a boulder down the hill to crush them, only to meet her own end when a bolt of lightning knocks her off the cliff.

You then go through Florida and France's closing scene, where Snow White and the Prince are on the bridge and the Dwarfs are on the steps of the bridge with the castle in the sunset on the one side of the track, before arriving at the unload area.

I know an idea, CARS. You should at least make a roller coaster out of it and it should go to DCA. It can be near "California Screamin' "

I'm having difficulty deciding what to use as the mountain for Hong Kong's Big Thunder Mountain. Should it be Bryce Canyon (found at Disneyland) or Monument Valley (found at the other parks)? Or should it be something brand-new altogether? I myself am leaning towards Monument Valley, but maybe you can think of something?

Nice idea, mharrington! I was nice that you could include some of my ideas in your's as well! Plus, you could use any of my ideas for your threads if you want to.

For Big Thunder Mountain, I think it will be nice to use Bryce Canyon, because it would make a change from all of the other mountains being Monument Valley.

For the Storybook Cruise, I think you should these places from Disney Films:
  • Pinocchio's Village
  • The Greek Temple and Bald Mountain from Fantasia
  • London Park from Peter Pan
  • The Sword from The Sword in the Stone
  • The Castle from Cinderella
  • Paris' Town and Gypsy Camp from The Hunchback of Notre Dame
  • The Cave of Wonders and the Sultan's Palace from Aladdin
  • Prince Eric's Seaside Castle and King Triton's kingdom from The Little Mermaid
  • The Dwarf's Cottage and Mine from Snow White
  • The Queen of Heart's Castle from Alice in Wonderland
Hope these ideas help you!

Good ideas, but I was considering using Peter Pan for something else: actually Neverland, where this time they DO take you. I will use Skull Rock as the new Monstro scene (Paris' Monstro scene is the Cave of Wonders). Other than Peter Pan, excellent ideas. Also you seem to have two castles, the one from Cinderella and one from Alice In Wonderland; which one will be the one on the hill? Probably Cinderella's.

Do you think the upcoming Toy Story Midway Mania could fit into other parks? I personally think it could. Here's where they could go:

  • JAPAN: American Waterfront at Tokyo DisneySea
  • FRANCE: Toon Studios at Walt Disney Studios Paris

It could work in France at the Studios, since in Florida, it's gonna be located at their Studio park.

Alright, Bryce Canyon it is. But if we go that route, I will also use Bryce Canyon as the themed mountain for BTM at my proposed German Disney park, where, like Paris, it will be on the island normally taken up by TSI.

B) Should the boats have a guide or not; C) Should the boats load and unload like at Disneyland or Disneyland Paris?

B) The boats should not have a guide and instead have a pre-recorded spiel. There should also be headphones that can allow you change the langauge depending on what country you're from.
C) The Boats should load and unload like at Disneyland Paris in my opinion, because it will make it more a different loading system than any other Fantasyland rides.

I never thought of a pre-recorded spiel. Thanks. And the headphones for translations are nice, too. I think the boat load here is kinda reminiscent of river rapid rides. Most but not all such rides commence like this.

As I mentioned before, a fifth dark ride at Tokyo Disneyland may or may not replace the Mickey Mouse Revue. It will be Alice In Wonderland, which means Disneyland will no longer be the only Disney park with an Alice dark ride anymore. Here's a rough map of what the ride might look like in the end: http://img107.imageshack.us/my.php?image=oldalicemapcb8.jpg.

However, the ride in the map is for an old walkthrough concept of the CA attraction before evolving into the ride seen today. Not all of the scenes on the map will be seen in the actual ride. The exterior of the ride will actually be indoors, but still represent the English countryside. The ride vehicles are designed to resemble not only the Caterpillar, but also the ever-grinning Cheshire Cat (these vehicles will resemble the Cheshire Cat float found in Tokyo's Electrical Parade: http://static.flickr.com/70/198483598_69b212407a_m.jpg.). And there will be no track, instead using magnetics that are used in Pooh's Hunny Hunt. As a nod to history, any Alice characters in the Mickey Mouse Revue (Alice, Hatter, Hare, Dormouse and Flowers) will all be reused in this ride as well.

Anyway, you approach the load area, resembling an English countryside seen in the film. Here, you board your Caterpillar or Cheshire Cat car and then it moves down the rabbit hole ahead. You go down a long descending ramp where you hear the usual Alice narration (in Japanese) of falling down the hole. You go through the long hole, passing by some scenery that Alice sees in the film as she descended the hole. In fact, you see Alice herself floating about above your head as you pass by.

At the bottom of the ramp, you go through the usual scene of the Doorknob opening up into Wonderland. Beyond, you go through a glass maze, where you see multiple hall-of-mirrors-style scenes of yourself in your car. Suddenly, the glass hall turns very distorted, like water, changing into a scene of Dodo Rock, where the Dodo and various sea creatures are performing the crazy Caucus Race. You then pass by the seashore where you see the ever-late White Rabbit. You then head into the woods where you meet the Tweedles, who say whether to go this way or that way (in Japanese).

You then pass by the White Rabbit's house. And then you pass by the hookah-smoking Caterpillar seated on his mushroom, followed by the Garden of Live Flowers, where you meet Alice where she's singing "All In the Golden Afternoon" (the music here is directly lifted from the Mickey Mouse Revue, Japanese language and all).

Leaving the Garden, you pass by the Cheshire Cat pointing the way to the Mad Hatter and the March Hare's Unbirthday Party. You also see a signpost pointing in every possible direction to the Party. You pass by the tea party in progress. You see the Hatter and Hare at the head of the table with the tea crockery on the table, performing their Unbirthday Song. The table is covered with tea crockery, with the Dormouse inside the main teapot. You then go past a few trees covered with signs pointing in every possible direction (e.g., THIS WAY, UP, DOWN, THAT WAY, YONDER, GO BACK, etc.). You then see the Cheshire Cat as he points the way into the Tulgey Wood, which follows immediately. You see Alice as she looks around, perplexed, and, of course, some of the forest's many residents, including an Accordion Owl, two Pencil Birds, two Hammer Birds, a flock of Bulbhorn Ducks, a Birdcage Bird and an Umbrella Bird.

Then the Cheshire Cat appears once again as he points the way to a "shortcut" home: the inevitable garden of the Queen of Hearts. You enter the hedge garden via a see-through tree. You then temporarily wind through the hedge maze, passing by some card people (clubs) "painting the roses red". You go under a heart-shaped hedge and arrive at the Queen's Croquet Ground. Here, you pass by an arch made of cards and see the Queen of Hearts (the pint-sized King is behind her) preparing to play croquet. Then you head across the drawbridge to the Queen's Castle. The bridge is flanked on both sides the Queen's card guards (hearts).

Inside the castle, the Trial is in progress. As you enter, you are menaced by an executioner guard (spades) holding an axe. At one end of the courtroom, you see a Jury Box and at the other a box on which the accused stands (in this case, obviously, Alice). At the head of the courtroom is the Judge Box with the Queen herself on it. She is shaking her arms in rage and yelling (in Japanese), "Off with her head!" On her left side is the King and on her right is the White Rabbit, blowing his trumpet.

You then turn inside the courtroom and make your escape with Alice near you. You go through a wall of card guards who try to block your escape route. You then head through a smoky cloud tunnel which is tilted upward, where the clouds and smoke are curling around in the tunnel, just like in the original film and you find yourself at the unload area and the ride is over.

One more thing: the music loop playing at Alice's Tea Party will now play over here at this ride. The teacup ride's music loop will now be only "The Unbirthday Song", just like at Disneyland.

So, what did you think? Pretty imrpessive, huh?

Oh, yeah, I just thought of something else: I think we could put a copy of Captain Hook's pirate ship that used to be found at Disneyland's old Fantasyland and Disneyland Paris' Adventureland and put it near the beginning area of HKDL'S Storybook Cruise. In this case, it will be put near here because this is where Skull Rock will be. Skull Rock in HKDL will be HKDL's Storybook Cruise equivalent of DL's Monstro and DLP's Cave of Wonders.

What is Storybook Cruise? I went to DLP when I was 13 with school and so naturally at that age I avoided Fantasyland like the plague (funnily enough I went straight there when I went to Anaheim on my own 2 and a half years ago to ride matterhorn) and I must have missed it in California. Could someone fill me in...may make a nice adition to my Australlia park (not that I copy or anything like that...honest, lol)

Storybook Cruise is HKDL's version of Storybook Land Canal Boats (Disneyland) and Le Pays des Contes de Fees (Disneyland Paris).
