Ah, yes, Dinoland, my favorite section of the park. It would be even better if Dinorama would stop existing...however, I don't have anything against the rides themselves, it's just the light, non Disneyish theme. So, you can keep the characters Chester and Hester, but their carnival needs to be rethemed. The backstory would be this:
Chester and Hester both notice that their park's attendance has been dropping. People are spending more time on the serious side of DLUSA, showing C&H that people want more themed rides, not run down carnivals. So, C&H decide to retheme their land into a fossil site themed area, right next to the Boneyard, named "Chester and Hester's Fossil Foley" . Being former students of the Dino Institute, they dig out most of the fossils and used them for the themeing. They found several Pterondon fossils, using them as replacements for the Triceratops seats, thus being renamed "Pterondon Mobiles". Primeval Whirl, while using the same track, would be mostly indoor inside of a mountain full of Dinosaur bones, and would be renamed "Primeval Mines". Lastly, the newest attraction would be a underground train ride where you are transporting bones to the museum. However, a bolder falls on the way out, and you're trapped. And worse of all, there's a Tyrannosaur that managed to survive all these years, and he's hungry for YOU. The ride would be called "Excavator Express", in memorial of the never was ride. Chester talks to you during the ride. At the first encounter with the T-rex, he exclaims "Ok, I defiantly did not put that there!"
Near by would be a gift shop named "The old Discovery shaft" which sells various fossil themed souvenirs, which of course aren't those cheap carnival toys....although, in reference to the former themeing, it still sells those carnival brontosaurs. Other then that, the gifts various from digging your own fossil out, to displays and mounts. Obviously, there would be a T-Shirt saying "I had a DINO-mite time at Chester and Hester's Fossil Foley!" which shows a T-rex skeleton doing a thumbs up. One final thing, Fossil Foleys would connected to the Boneyard, as C&H didn't put the last fence in.
So, what do you think?
