In that case, put Storybookland behind Toad with a path leading from it and move Toontown a bit closer to "it's a small world". Did you guys ever see the Fantasyland I designed for the Down Under Resort, well, go there and look, you can make this one similar in a way.

Second, for your show, I've never seen Galaxy Search, so I really have no clue, but I've got an idea for your show. HEHE!

Third, I think that the costume design you rew up was good, but makes him look too much like he's from space. Lemme try to do some more of my renderings and see where I get. - The WeirdOne :D

Yeah, when I was designing the Mickey costume, I was thinking about somthing along the lines of Golden magic armor, with sybols on it depicting fire. I know, it sort of does look like a space suit, but kinda keep that idea in mind. Sort of out landish magic. I can't wait to hear your show idea!:)

I posted a cncept for Mickey's costume for Blazin' Rythms on the photo post. I tried to make it fanciful, but still have a little internationa/ tribal influence. It may be a little too much for this show, but I thought I might as well see what you think.

As for the Theaters, I keep saying that I 1) put a good-sized theater on Main Street at the Plaza Gardens that can do larger shows (like the ones at Fantsyland Theater at DL or Theater of the Stars at MGM) and one for smaller shows in Fantasyland neer Little Mermaid. There is no need to completely rearange Fantasyland when there are two perfectly good stages already.

Blazin' Rhythms Script

The area is dark with a path down Main Street, a path around the route, and an empty stage. The stage goes dark with the rest of the parade route and we heard a slow drumming noise. It picks up in speed and we see a glass box suddenly on stage when the lights go up. Suddenly, 4 yellowish lights sparkle at the four corners of the box and we see that they are pixies. The box rises spiraling upwards until it’s about 30 or so feet in the air making it visible down Main Street. Suddenly, the box goes dark and the sides sparkle with white light and the pixie trail glows some as their little wings flutter fast. Then suddenly, the box lights up, and who else, but Mickey Mouse is inside. The box lowers to the ground and the doors open and Mickey steps out. Fire bursts around the box (paper/fabric like PotC) and it sinks into the ground, suddenly, railings rise around Mickey and he is rising into the air about 30 feet on his platform and we hear the main theme of Blazin’ Rhythms playing as the other platforms containing characters rise. We see people pour out from Backstage into the stage and in Main Street containing fiery costumes with sparkling body pieces and the main fanfare goes on with sparkling red, orange, and yellow fireworks in the air. Mickey’s platform is the highest currently.

Mickey – Let’s check out all the places we can go with the Blazin’ Rhythms of our heart!

Then suddenly, Minnie’s platform rises to the highest point and her can-can outfit is in the spotlight as can-can dancers come out onto the stage and the other dancers disappear.

[NOTE – I don’t feel like describing the fireworks going so, but there will be fireworks going on all the time.]

Minnie – Ladies, LA VIE PARISIENNE!

Then we hear the can-can song play and they begin to do some low kicks and they shake their shirts. Then they bust into high kicks and shaking their shirts, back flips, turns, splits, and more kicks. The kicks reach a high point and…

Clopin – FOOLS!

The can-can girls are sort of pushed aside by Gypsies and Donald’s platform rises to the highest point. Banners drop from the castle.

Once a year, we throw a party here in town
Once a year, we turn all Paris upside-down
Ev'ry man's a king and ev'ry king's a clown
Once again it's Topsy Turvy day
It's the day the devil in us gets released
It's the day we mock the prig and shock the priest
Ev'rything is Topsy Turvy at the feast of fools

Crowd - Topsy Turvy!

Clopin - Ev'rything is upsy-daisy!

Crowd - Topsy Turvy!

Clopin - Ev'ryone is acting crazy
Dross is gold and weeds are a bouquet
Scurvy knaves are extra scurvy
On the sixth on Janu-urvy

Clopin And Crowd - All because it's Topsy Turvy day!
Topsy Turvy!

Clopin - Come one, come all
Hurry, hurry, here's your chance
See the mystery and romance

Clopin And Crowd - Come one, come all

Minnie – Come on Mademoiselles!

Suddenly, the can-can girls burst back into the crowd and Minnie’s platform rises to the highest position as Donald’s platform sinks and the can-can song replays as they overpower the gypsies and kick again and burst into their show. Suddenly, we see Clopin center stage again…

Clopin – Not this time, dance La Esmeralda…
DANCE!

There is an explosion of smoke all over where the can-can girls are and they run off all scared and we see gypsies dancing all over the route with Esmeralda center stage doing her gypsy dance. When the dancing is almost over...

Clopin - And now, mesdames et monsieurs, the piece de resistance!
Here it is, the moment you've been waiting for
Here it is, you know exactly what's in store
Now's the time we laugh until our sides get sore
Now's the time we crown the king of fools!
You all remember last year's king...
So make a face that's horrible and frightening
Make a face that's gruesome as a gargoyle's wing
For the face that's ugliest will be the king of fools
Why?

Crowd - Topsy Turvy!

Clopin - Ugly folks, forget your shyness

Crowd - Topsy Turvy!

Clopin - You could soon be called "your highness"

Crowd - Put your foulest features on display
Be the king of Topsy Turvy day

Esmeralda - Hey, you're going to join in the competition, right? Come on, you didn't go to all the trouble of making that great mask for nothing! You get 5 Sous if you win!

One person from the crowd is chosen to be a part of the festival at each location where there is a place to show your face.

Crowd - Topsy Turvy!

Person from crowd chosen sticks face thru hole and the crowd applauds with moderate excitement.

Crowd - Topsy Turvy!

Next, a gypsy sticks his face thru the hole and the crowd screams NO!

Crowd - Topsy Turvy!

Quasimodo sticks his face thru the hole and there is a brief silence we hear a loud and razzing YEAH! with a lot of cheering and people holding confetti batons send streamers shooting into the audience with lots of smoke coming from the batons because of the high pressure inside the baton to shoot the streamers far. When Esmeralda tries to remove his mask and realizes it is his face, the crowds gasps and laughs a little and…

Clopin - Ladies and gentlemen, don't panic. We asked for the ugliest face in Paris, and here he is! Ev'rybody!

We see two big champagne bottles with people on top of the necks rise near the sides of the stage and one in the middle of the stage rise with a person on its neck. The bottles are fully onstage when Clopin says “we’ve never had a king like this!”

Crowd - Once a year we throw a party here in town

Clopin - Hail to the king!

Crowd - Once a year we turn all Paris upside-down

Clopin - Oh what a king!

Crowd - Once a year the ugliest will wear the crown

Clopin - Girls, give a kiss!

Crowd - Once a year on Topsy Turvy day

Clopin - We've never had a king like this!

Clopin And Crowd - It's the day we do the things that we deplore
On the other three hundred and sixty-four
Once a year we love to drop in
Where the beer is never stoppin'
For the chance to pop some popinjay
And pick a king who'll put the "top" in
Topsy Turvy day!

Side champagne bottles explode with pyro that looks like champagne is shooting out the cork.

Topsy Turvy!
Mad and crazy, upsy-daisy
Topsy Turvy day
Hey!

On the word “hey!” the middle bottle explodes with streamers and gypsies carrying new batons shoot more streamers with smoke coming out the batons due to the force of the blast and at the same time we hear…WHOOSH! and suddenly Mickey shaped confetti is raining down upon the whole crowd. The banners on the castle drop off into the nearest balconies and put away by technical assistants. When the WHOOSH! occurs we see drums rise on stage and get pushed out onto the route and Chip and Dale’s platform is now the highest and drummers begin to pound on these drums and the gypsies scatter and we see Asian dragons and samurai and other Asian dancers pour into the crowd as the exotic Asian drums beat new music and there is a general Asian feel. At the end with a great big beat on the drums, everyone crosses their hands in the air with their drumsticks and yellow confetti shaped like dragons shoots in the air from the stage floor and certain areas of the Main Street floor but only straight up and not really into the crowd. When the confetti is shot, fog is shot into the air as Goofy’s platform rises and this fog blankets all the Asian dancers and when the fog clears a few seconds after it appears, the Asian dancers are suddenly replaced with African dancers and puppetry of lions, gazette, and other pride land animals. They move around interacting with the people and the African trumpets and beats become fast now and then we hear a splash and then new Caribbean drums and whistles start playing and the animals clear and we see Caribbean dancers and sea-themed dancers with Sebastian and Ariel on stage and Main Street. Pluto’s platform is currently the highest and the dancers begin pulling people from the crowd to do limbos and conga lines and other Caribbean fun and towards the end of this number we see Tinkerbell fly down from the middle wire followed by 4 other aerialists on the other wires with trailing tapestries of red, yellow, and orange. Banners and tapestries once again fall from certain points in the castle and we see a general celebration song go on with a tune similar to “The Future Hand In Hand” song. All of the dancers from each number gather onstage with all of the gang in platforms in their highest points. The celebration is exotic, fanciful, and very much fun with can-caning, gypsy dancing, dragons, drums, sea-animals, and fire among things. The number ends in a giant freeze and suddenly, fireworks explode lining the castle, on Main Street buildings and everywhere lining the route with a flash powder type effect and then in another beat, they repose and there’s another WHOOSH! with more confetti raining upon the audience. There’s a general closing number in which every group takes a bow individually and each character disappears with his group. Finally, it’s Mickey and his dancers and they bow and disappear and then Mickey’s platform sinks leaving him standing alone on the stage, the box reappears and Mickey steps inside and it rises into the air again.

Mickey – It’s Magical! HAHA!

With the “HAHA!” the lights go out for about 2 seconds and relight and Mickey is gone, nowhere to be seen. And the music slowly drums to a close and then the whole area lights up to how it was before the show, just covered in confetti and streamers.

So, now what does everyone think. This is pretty much the final script. I want your opinions. Thanks! - The WeirdOne :D

I think his costume looks much like imagineerboy's costume in the fact that it is too spacy. I'll try to have my renderings up ASAP.

Second, Fantasyland needs a theater for big shows because something like Animazement or the Little Mermaid simply does not work on Main Street. Main Street and the hub should be reserved for special events such as Blazin' Rhythms. How would explain seeing a mermaid fly over Main Street or the Hunchback of Notre Dame running around? You can't. That's why Fantasyland needs a big theater, plus moving Storybookland doesn't require much effort, one move. - The WeirdOne :D

Sounds good, but the Topsey Turvy scene is rather long. Shorten it a bit. How about an Austrailian sequence, where people are playing digerydoos. It would be neat.:)

Re: Blazin' Rhythms Script

The Hunchback segment seems a little too long to me. Shorten it a little and it should b pretty good. Also I think having more than one arealist comming down at the same time as Tink would be confusing. Most guests probably wouldn't realize which is Tink and which isn't. I'd just stickwith Tink.

Main Street is fine for a theater because 1) the theater is indoors and inclosed and 2) if character show don't clash with Tomorrowland *cough* TDL Showbase *cough* they won't clash here.

The Hunchback segment is just as long as the other ones, if not shorter. It just seems long because I wrote out the lines because it is the only speaking and singing in the show basically. If I wrote out each action, the others would be much longer.

As for the Main Street theater, I'll only agree to it if it is indoors and HUGE otherwise it's a no go with me. And TDL Showbase is in Tomorrowland because they don't have a Fantasyland theater. Personally, I hate TDL Showbase because it clashes. Anyways. Are we good now? - The WeirdOne :D

Forgot to add, first Tinkerbell comes down and when she's cleared most of the audience, then the other aerialists come down with the banners. Not at the same time. Any other problems I could help answer? - The WeirdOne :D

Sounds god to me. Check out the Hub map on the picture post on the Chit Chat board. The theater is on te righ side of the hub. It's pretty big and well themed (imagine th Hyperion at DCA, but with more Main Street-like theming). I'l still keep the smaller stage in Fantasyland as well for shows on a smaller scale.

That sounds good. As long as the wires arn't too visable in the day or if they at least have some sort of festive banners on them during the day to make them look better when the show is not being performed and that can be removed for the show, it'll be fine.

Okay, that sounds great. Maybe we should just leave the wires empty, the would block out the castle during the day with the banners.

As for the Main Street Theater, how many stories of seating? Broadway size? etc. I need details. Ideas are flowing in and out of my ears for it. - The WeirdOne :D

I think full broadway-sized theater with the balconies and such would be probably too big. Maybe a tad smaller scale that Hyperion, but maybe more along the lines of Tarzan Rocks or Beauty and the Beast at WDW (maybe a little bigger). Hope that helps.

How about smaller than Hyperion size on the outside, but built partially underground so on the inside it is Hyperion scale, I mean, all turn of the century theaters were kindof like that. Small on the outside, huge inside. - The WeirdOne :D

I'm not too concened about the size of the exterior facade, I was refering to the size of the theater itself. I think if we have a theater in each land as you requested, there's no need for one gigantic monster theater like at DCA, which is a park pretty much void of other entertainment (minus a few kids shows). I think this should be the biggst theater in the park, but I don't see a need to make it Hyperion scale. Large scale is fine, but let's not make it too big.

Okay, you have a point, but can this one at least have two stories, otherwise the show I'm currently planning there doesn't make sense. - The WeirdOne :D

Alright, here is Roger Rabbit's Car-Toon Spin:

It uses some of the same technology as Spider Man ( you see 3-D images )

You go through the same qeue and then you get to your cars. They go one at a time. You see a pre show video Where Benny the cab explains that the Weasles are on the loose. And he doesn't want the weasles to see humans, because they might kill you. So, you put on those funny glasses where there are the glasses with the nose and mustash on them ( they're 3-D glasses ). You get in a cab, but these cabs are Benny the cab's cousin, Lenny. So you get and the car and start going off down a narrow Toon Town Street, and the car has a commentary

Lenny: Don't try to steer the wheel, because I'm gonna do the Drivn' around here

( you can't steer your car in a different direction like in the other ones )

You then see a screen where a 3-D Roger in a 3-D Benny halt in front of you.

Roger: You'd better get out of here! The weasles are after us.

Lenny: OK, come on folks, we're takn' a detour.

A couple of AA weasles pop out at you and you swerve away. You see a scene where the weasles are pouring dip on the street and an AA Roger and Benny are spinning around in it screaming. You pass through it, and spin out of control where smoke shoots out on both sides of you. You then see some AA weasles stuffing Jessica Rabbit into the trunk of their car.

Jessica: Roger, help me!
