Does this not exist in Florida? I got some in Disneyland, but I don't remember ever seeing it in WDW.
I mean, come on, who really wants hot coffee in that heat?

You can find it in some places. I also know that Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland and the Garden Grove have great Iced Cappuccino.

Oh YAY thank you! I looked (I thought) all over last year and was so disappointed.

If you are looking for the cappuccino types drinks you get at Starbuck's you can find them, but you have to look - check out the menus one by one; a pain I know.

If you just want regular iced coffee then you can make your own by asking for a cup of ice and pouring your coffee on top to cool it off. I've found that in different parts of the country people have different ideas on just what iced coffee is.

Real iced coffee (here anyway) is double-brewed so the ice doesn't water down the flavor. I've tried just putting ice in regular coffee, but it tastes horrible, and the Nescafe coffee in WDW is bad enough as it is.

I remember when my aunt and uncle moved out to Wisconsin a few years ago, they had to beg places to specially make iced coffee for them. In a place up north where it's colder I can sort of understand it, but I can't imagine living in FL and not having iced coffee!
I'll search for the places with the iced cappuccino, it's good enough... though I wish they had it in the resorts. Thanks!

I can't stand the stuff... but I understand the iced coffee at AK is very good. They sell it at the front gate, and somewhere inside.

The Iced Cappuccino is really good though (at least I think so). So hopefully you won't be disappointed.

RI here too !!!

I think ice coffee is a way of life up here in New England in the summer months. I do find it much more difficult to find it when I am in WDW. You are right, just putting the hot coffee over ice, just does not taste right...

It's like trying to find sweet-tea anywhere north of the Carolinas. I always ask, hopefully "do you have sweet tea?"...and inevitably I get the stupid answer "we have raspberry" (ack!) or "we have sugar on the table". Nope, not the same :)

You're right about that. Sweet tea always the first thing my kids want when we travel south, since you really can't get it up here.

It is hard to fine iced coffee at counter service. My husband has had no problem finding it at table service restaurants. Don't be surprised if the wait staff looks at you funny, most don't know what iced coffee is. Several times we were brought a slushy thing, I think is was the ice cappuccino.

Drinking hot coffee in the heat is just an acquired act. It's really not that bad. :)

DH thinks I'm crazy b/c I drink coffee every morning all year long, even if it's going to be over 100 that day. But in the summer, I love to have an iced mocha skim no whip! Frapps are good, but I just don't get the same coffee satisfaction out of it.

I'm glad we're at the Poly this year so that I can get some good coffee in the morning at the Kona coffee bar.

As far as Southern sweet tea goes, I'm one GRITS who has actually started ordering unsweet tea. Don't get me wrong, I love the sweet stuff, and I know how to make it right at home. But I guess after 30 years of it, I have decided to use my calories elsewhere (I only drink diet drinks anyway). Try ordering unsweet tea in the South. It's hard to get the wait staff to remember, even if you have a million packets of Splenda sitting on the table.

i think kusafiri at AK has iced coffee, both frozen & chilled. the only problem is that it's back by safari, but it tastes great after a morning hike for fastpasses! =)
