I won a Wii !!!!!!....

My company had its annual company dinner over the weekend and as usual gave away prizes to its employees. I was one of the ones chosen and I won a Wii! :sohappy:

Anyway, I've played the Wii before and loved it. I know that Epic Mickey is on Wii and all the Mario games; but for all you Wii owners out there, what other games are good for the Wii?

Wii sports resort is a lot of fun. I have a Wii fit and enjoy it. Mario Kart is great. Toy Story Mania is okay.

Yeah, I love Mario Kart! And we are definitely planning to get teh Wii Fit. Have you tried out the Dance Revolution game?

Congratulations! That's really cool. We love Toy Story Mania - clearly it's not the ride but it's like a little bit of Disney magic in your living room. Stay away from the team sports games - they are really not made for Wii (NHL, Madden, etc.)

Do you by chance have an Xbox 360? If so I would opt for the Kinect over the Wii fit. The fitness games for the Kinect are leaps and bounds (pun intended) better than the Wii fit. The Dance central for Kinect is vastly superior to Dance revolution.

I was planning on getting another xbox 360 soon anyway with a Kinect because coincidentally last week my xbox broke. So by chance I won the Wii this past weekend and decided to let my girls have the Wii .

Once our tax return comes in I will be getting my xbox back with the Kinect :sohappy:. Yeah, Dance Central looks great!

While Dance Central is not my style of game the game play is pretty freaking awesome. One big fitness element that Kinect has over Wii is jumping. While it can be hard on bad joints jumping is a huge lower body workout and a big calorie burner. The other thing I like is no accessories. You buy the Kinect and the games and you are done. No extra controllers, golf clubs, steering wheels, etc.

Definitely! I love the no accessories feature. But for now, I will enjoy the Wii. :sohappy:

I love the Band Hero and Guitar Hero games.

As was said, Toy Story Mania, Mario Kart are a blast.

I'm not a big gamer, so I don't get into all of those fantasy or war type games.
