I've been blasting Rise Against since abour 2:30 in an effort to make myself feel better.
Epic fail.
And the week started out so promisingly.. with Bon Jovi and etc. Fail.
On the bright side, Cameron got a full time job at the radio station in our hometown (he's going to school for Radio/Television Arts) and starts the 1st of March! Which is AWESOME, so happy for him, but it means that I do not get to see him until March, possibly. Which is not what I needed to hear today. I needed to hear "Hey! I am driving to see you!". Instead he is going to Toronto :lol:
It's been planned for months, I'm just sooking.

I can't stand Coldplay. Cannot stand. Appreciate that a lot of people like them, but it's just not for me.
And re: job. He's been on air there since he was 15, so it was a pretty sure thing. This is the slot he wants and everything, supa proud of him.. but his weekends are limited, which means no visits, probably.. and him not coming home for the weekend of my reading week since it'd be his last one with his friends there.
Not a good day, boys. Not a good day.

Afternoon, everyone.
The day has been great so far, but not the best. Classes were surprisingly lax today, but my only free time was disrupted by a clique of fresh(wo)men who thought it would be fun to gossip about the week. Name anything; I am sure I heard it all. :lol:
Oh, and I was able to confirm what I thought: Grade(s) Mix-up. Let's just say my GPA is now listed as a 3.3. There were two classes that I regret accepting, but at least it was not as drastic as before. So I am uber-happy about that (Go me!).
Playing catch-up now...
Luke: Avvie/Sig combo is great! Their actions definitely help save much of the western wilderness from the timber thieves. :lookaroun

Right now I'm listening to a Genius playlist on my iTunes that started from the song "Postcards from Italy" by Beirut, which you should all listen to as well. It just played some Sufjan Stevens and now it's playing Iron & Wine, and next is Bon Iver and therefore for the next 10 minutes I will just be sitting in ecstasy listening to great music.

I agree that some songs are way overplayed, especially Viva la Vida and Clocks, but most of his other music is so good. Most of the Viva la Vida album is just incredible. And his first album, Parachutes, is great.
