I told my dad that this trip would hold off my need for Disney for about a month. But I think this great trip made it worse! I hope to go back in early May or this summer for my birthday trip! We've been planning that trip for like 4 years!

Got home safely. Made really good time. Supposed to take 15 hours and we only took 13.5 hours! We are becoming pros at that drive. It's a terrible 40 degree temperature difference :( I can honestly say I hate Indiana! :D we went from sunny to snowy in 13 hours. I walked into my room where us three kids camped out Friday night before we left and it made me want to cry because it seems so long ago but it feels like yesterday :( I already want to go back and I'm ready for winter to be OVER! :mad::banghead::cry: Ok I'm way too emotional and tired to post any more pics tonight so goodnight and happy new year! :rolleyes::)

It is great that you had such a good time. Can you tell me if the old Fastpass paper ticket system/machines were still in use at any of the parks when you left?

All of them except Animal Kingdom. But now you can make FP+ selections in the park even if you aren't a guest on property. We didn't have any troubles with it and I like the whole system so far.

I hope I can remember my own advice I recently gave you when I am down there next week with a party of eight, 4 of which have not gone with the "fanatic" before, and 2 of those 4 are under 3 YO.

So we have no choice but to use the FP+ at AK, which limits quantity and quality of FP's, but it does not require magic bands? If we use FP+ at AK in the morning, I wonder if we would still be able to use our cards in the old machines in the evening at another park, as I understand it, FP+ limits you to one park a day?

Yes the CMs just scan your ticket and you choose three attractions with multiple return times there. We got a Splash fastpass later that night (which was a mistake because it was soo cold). We barely used fastpass our two first days (Christmas Eve and Day) but we really needed them last Friday and Saturday even though MK didn't close.

@ImagineerDude The feeling shall pass...you will be happy again. We have know been home since the 21st of December and still am having some blues BUT the depression is fading and now I'm having happy thoughts and remembering some of the little things that happened to us while we were at our Magic Place.

My only problem is I keep saying "One week ago we were..." I always do that lol. It doesn't help it's snowy and cold here :(

Well we could have went together....I'm saying the same thing and after reading your report I see your a fellow Hoosier. I can't wait till April. We are getting 2-5 inches of snow in northern Indiana. At least that's what the news said:rolleyes:
