We enjoyed Maelstrom and Three Cabarellos for the first time ever in 10 trips of WDW. Only third trip to EPCOT and we FINALLY had a blast here. The weather was great in the afternoon...it even got a little warm...

Then we took a little lunch break around 12:30 because the park was getting CROWDED. I've heard horror stories about WDW at Christmas and so far it's been far from any of those...I'm sure that will change over the next few days. After lunch at our condo we went to Hollywood Studios where we rode the Great Movie Ride and watched Lights Motor Action and Fantasmic!

It had really started to cool off by that time and Meg only had short shorts on so we went back to the condo to decide what to do...AFTER the Osbourne Lights of course!

And it "snowed!" I was so excited! But it felt like it was cold enough to snow so we headed back to the condo....

So after some whining, and FaceTiming missed family back home...we wanted to go home. Home as in...the Magic Kingdom! I was ecstatic because we weren't supposed to go until tomorrow, well today I guess...but yeah! We got there around 10 a and it was packed! But by 11:15 the only souls in the park were in Tomorrowland and on Main Street. We left the park at 12:54 (it closed at 1) after riding Buzz, Barnstormer, Dumbo, Little Mermaid, Jingle Cruise, Pirates, Big Thunder and Space Mountain. Pretty good for an unplanned and unexpected yet totally wonderful Christmas Eve!

Sorry for poor quality. Took most of them with my iPhone while maneuvering around people.

Anyways it was a long, wonderful day full of surprises.

Our breakfast ressie at Tusker House is at 8:05am today  In like less than 6 hours! Yet I'm still up??? I need to get up in about 4 and 1/2 hours so goodnight!!:)

On our way back to our condo for a break before another round of MK...

We spent Christmas morning in AK. It was 47 (too cold) when we got there. We headed into the park around 7:45am and headed straight to a FP+ kiosk. Easy, quick, and painless. Seriously I think I'm going to love the system once they work out the kinks. Then we headed to our 8:05 ressie at Tusker House...

The characters quickly went by only one time...and when they did the only one that actually interacted with us a little was Goofy. Mickey was at our table for about a minute, Goofy a good couple minutes, and Daisy maybe 45 seconds. And they were all 3-4 minutes within each other. The food was good, nothing to write home about. Our waiter was outstanding though.

After our disappointing breakfast at the Tusker House we went straight onto the Safari with no wait, Everest twice in a row (one with our first FP and one in 20 minute standby line), and then an amazing performance of Festival of the Lion King. I was so impressed! It's now one of my favorite shows in WDW. I hadn't seen it since 2002! I'll add pictures of it in the next post...

Where are the fp+ kiosks in animal kingdom. My daughter is going back in a few days with her school marching band and since there staying off site she'll will need to use them.

If you just follow the paths throughout Discovery Island you'll see little FP+ Kiosk signs. They seem like they are EVERYWHERE lol. Tell her to get there as early as possible!

So we defiantly got a real taste of what Disney at Christmas is like. Don't tell anyone but I literally jumped over a fence and a stroller to get to get Splash Mountain FP's and back to the extremely crowded castle fourcourt for the show. :p I photo bombed sooo many pictures but there were so many people you couldn't move unless you pushed your way through which I didn't really feel comfortable doing...until I got my foot ran over by a wheel chair while wearing flip flops! But everyone was very civil and pretty nice because you are in Magic Kingdom on Christmas....what'd you expect! Anyways I made it to Splash and back to the castle in 9 minutes :cool: There needs to be one way traffic around the hub. One sidewalk on Main Street should go towards the hub and the other away. And one CM at the Hall of Presidents told us about a backstage exit through adventureland, but it didn't exist. But I loved loved loved seeing it snow on Main Street. Absolutely B-E-A-utiful!

We watched the Celebrate the Season show...the two 12 year olds got bored with it, but my parents and I enjoyed it!

So we rode the PeopleMover, Carousel of Progress, Splash Mountain, and the Hall of Presidents. We ate at Cosmic Ray's late after the Electrical Parade and the kids were getting restless so we decided to leave. :( We could have gotten sooo much more done though! For example: Belle- 10, Big Thunder- 20, Small World & Pooh & Splash & Jingle Cruise & Pirates- 5...but it'll be better for today so we don't have two crabby Tweens acting like they're 4 :P

@ImagineerDude I ran into the same trouble with my teenage girls. I can't understand it. It was actually easier when they were little!! One would get all snotty and the other one made it a point to make sure she didn't sit next to the other one on a ride, in a resturaunt or even walking down main street!! Next time it's just going to be my husband and I. If I'm nice I'll bring my son too. ;)
