I remember the most amazing show to ever exist at EPCOT, Kitchen Cabaret, and it goes a little something like this:

(Sing with me now...)
"veggie veggie fruit fruit
veggie fruit fruit
vegeeeeeeeetables
cha cha cha"

I loved that show. I sing her that song at dinner.

I remember Epcot had information kiosks with tv screens when it first opened and I touched one and a live operated appeared on the screen and asked "can I help you?" It was state of the art technology and it scared me I thought I broke a rule

They were great. I seem to remember you could make dinning reservations on them for later that day.

Really?

I remember there being large poster size maps for sale, but the guide maps were always free...from what I can remember.

I can never remember paying for guide maps either! I do remember in the 70's that instead of being a big folded up map like now, they gave you a small booklet as a guide/ map. Each land had its own two pages and it was really rather cool and I do rather miss that.

One Little Spark...
Criticize all you like, I'm a changed man when it comes to Magicbands.

FastPass+, I'm a bit leery of, but when used in combination with traditional FPs...wow...just wow.

Why do I say this? Well, I used it all day yesterday (and this morning), and now, I miss them. And, I have a feeling, I'll miss them come my trip back to WDW in 7ish more days (too bad POFQ doesn't have them yet...yes, I said it! TOO BAD!)

I remember when there was not 1 but 2 Chef Mickey's!! One was in DTD at one time. We ate there in 1992.

I remember when you could easily walk up to ANY AND ALL restaurants in WDW. Ahhhh those were the days of whatever you were in the mood for!

I remember an Aladdin themed character breakfast in MGM. We loved this back in the day!

I remember when characters would roam free around the parks... after all it is their home right? Now they are not allowed.

Yep. Loved that, seemed so cool like we were witnessing tech that would be a part of our lives soon... obviously, video chatting now exists but it's not as commonplace at this point as I thought it would be 30 years ago.

Question: I distinctly remember using the video screen to make dinner reservations at Epcot, but how were reservations handled at MK and the resorts at that point? Just a pedestrian calling in or walking up?

I'll skip the one's already mentioned....

Lights of Winter
Christmas decorations everywhere you looked. I'm a you can never have too many decorations person.
Trees in the hub
Crowd down times
Not hearing the Peoplemover breakdown announcement what seems to be every 3-7 minutes
When Tomorrowland wasn't an outdoor Disco in the evening
No rude/loud tour groups

I remember If you had wings. It was a free attraction when you had to have tickets.
Before there were autograph books used for character signatures.
The beautiful view that 20 leagues created.
The skyway and the views.
The original tomorrow land look
The music listen to the land on the attraction.
Before the attraction that carpet
Ride inadventureland
When the play guns were real wood and not plastic
When Epcot Center was really future world.
When you entered Epcot and wasn't greeted by those big blocks of granite or whatever they are.
When you could enter Main Street before the park opened.
When there was a fire truck in the fire station.
The keel boats.
Before the big hat at MGM and it was MGM
Before all the stores on the left side of Main Street going toward the castle
were connected. There was a pretty area with flowers.

Breakfast on the Empress Lilly with the characters.
