I really miss The Walt Disney World Railroad

I would hope that the trains were run and “exercised” over the past few years…the WDWRR was always
One of our favorite must-dos on our trips and we’ve missed it for the past few years. Just a technical question, is there another “loop” backstage where the trains can be sufficiently run during all the downtime?

While we don't ride the train every visit, I always enjoy seeing it, haring it, and miss it. There's a kind of Pavlovian association to the sound of the train whistle and being at MK.

Now that I think on it, a train- or something train-like - is one of the park elements that is missing from HS. AK has one (if not one that circles the park), and Uni has one connecting the two parks. Epcot doesn't have a train, but it has the elevated monorail and the lagoon boats.
