I live too far away!

Well I don't have a trip planned till 2011 at the earliest. To try and get z bit of Disney magic I downloaded the wait times app for my iPhone and it informed me that I'm currently 6879km from the Magic Kingdom. Sigh...

Still, I have a trip to Tokyo (including TDL) planned for next April so I'll get my annual fix!

I know the feeling...Don't let my location fool you! I only go about once a year, too.

All the ride home, I kept asking myself why I live so far away...:o

TDR will be great for you, though! :D Enjoy! It's amazing over there.

Heck I live about 3,000 miles from the magic..The only thing I had close to Disney was DisneyQuest Chicago....Then they close it......Sad day for me...However, I try to make a trip every year out there to keep me happy and since I'm coming back soon..I'm much more excited to go..It's going to be my longest trip so far....Okay by an extra 4 days and a week..It's still pretty long.

I'm only 90 miles away, and I don't get down there NEAR enough! A couple of times a year is the best I can muster. I'm quite ashamed.:(

I hear that- I was in the same boat, living in your neck of the woods. Then I moved West and traded WDW for DL, which I've since traded for hospital bills :ROFLOL:

Ah well. I'll be back eventually.

At least I have the internet to keep me entertained!

It could be worse. I'm about two hours from Disney and I barely make it anymore. With the economy and the fact that with my wife's disability I'm in the lower class of society that can't afford Disney anymore. Heart breaking really because we use to be able to afford season passes, but not anymore.

Just knowing I'm only two hours away and just can't afford it hurts.

I live in Southern New Jersey and only get there once a year. It's the quality of time that I spend ther for that 7 to 10 days that holds me over for the rest of the year. I am glad I have found this web site, it's the people, stories and pictures that now holds me off a bit until my next trip in October 2010.

I am sure that is hard. I am sorry to hear that.

You would be surprised how much real life gets in the way. Although living so close makes for a great quick three-day weekend. We just moved 1 1/2 ours further away...and at the end of the year we'll be almost as far as you can get away in the USA :( Oh well, there's always DLR, they are doing a ton of new stuff there!

It will be four years between visits for me. Life getting in the way seems to happen more and more frequently now:)

Looking forward to my next trip, and hoping it isn't another four years before I get back again.

It is always the airfare that seems to hold me back rather than the actual expense of the stay on property.
