Yes, thats right, Im a proud owner of a 2001 Ford Escort ZX2. Its white and its got a lil spoiler and i love it! lol It goes surprisingly fast too! Ive been driving it around my Dead end all day. Cant wait till January 26th when i can legally drive it! lol

January 26th is probably going to be a great day for you, well if you pass. I remember I took my test before hand so all I had to do was get my picture taken. I probably would have been really happy if I wasnt sick at the time. but now that I am going to school again, I got my license over the summer, it has proven to be the best thing ever. lol But my first car, I dont really like, but its a car. My parents said if I get a job I can get a new one though, but Im too lazy to look for one lol. Good luck susie, and dont get caught.

Good for you gettting a car before you can legally drive it.

(tired of it happeneding around me, a 17 YO without licence or car, I can drive with a persion 21 or above though, )

(i will take the eavil test when my grades are up to par, 4 As,1 B and 1 D aint good enough yet. it is still better than last years which i burned in a ritural...)

Lucky! Did your parents buy it for you? Im assuming since it's a 2001 then probably so. I've had my license since the beginning of August but right now I'm driving my parents cars since I have to buy my own. I'm saving up for it. Driving my dad's 2001 Silverado is nice but I still can't wait to get my own. The problem is I have to pay for everything- the car, the insurance, any repairs it needs, everything. So it'll be a while since I make about 150 dollars every two weeks at my job. Oh well it'll be worth it.

Nice car to be drivbing around for the time being! I paid 3 grand of it and my parents paid for the rest and they are paying for insurarnce for the first year. Ill pay them back for it one of these days, perhaps when im making over 6 bucks an hour..lol..Im so greatful, the last outta four kids, i lucked out alot with my first car!

Ya it's very nice, I love it but unfortunately it's my dad's baby so it will never be mine :lol: That's cool that your parents will pay for some of it. My dad's philosophy is "well I had to use my own money to buy my first car and so should you" which is understandable. Well anyways, congrats! Be safe!

Hmm....good idea, but I don't think it'll work. Actually I just reread my post and it makes it sound like that would work, but what I meant was that I have to buy any car, not just the first.
