I just accepted for Spring 08 CP!

Hey everyone!

I'm so excited I couldn't not tell everyone! After being accepted last year but having to turn it down because my school is eeeeiiiiiiicccckkkyyyy, this semester, I applied again, with everything in order in advance. AND I GOT IN!!!!!! I'm gonna be an attractions cast member! I paid my $75 fee and everything! Holy crap is Jan 9th a long ways off! WOOHOO DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM WHAT WHAT~!!!!!@!~~@!#%^%&!^#$@%&^!#~@~@#~~!$%^.
Okay. You are welcome to go back to your regular lives now. I just had to share.

I can't to hear that same news for myself... lol. My interview is actually tomorrow morning, I'm so excited and nervous, I can't wait to get the news that I got in(hopefully :))

oh wow! congratulations! Hopefully I will be posting the same thing soon! My interview was wed. night. Here's hoping! When was your interview? Also any news on where you are staying? Maybe we can meet up or something if I also get in.

:sohappy: :sohappy: Congratulations!!!!! You are going to have a wonderful time. My CP (MANY moons ago in '95) still remains the best time I've ever had. It's really an amazing experience and you'll learn so much. :)

That's great news, congrats!!
I wish I had done the CP when I was in college, MANY, MANY, MANY moons ago.. :lol:

Thank you all so much for your warm wishes and good luck to everyone who is waiting to hear!

Dazzle - I was literally the fourth interview this year. Lol. I heard in less than a week from them recieving my (overnighted) application. My friend who interviewed a few days later still hasn't heard yet. I might've been processed so fast because I was one of so few at that point.

HOWEVER - the nightmare for me that I promise won't happen to you - it took them SIX WEEKS after recieving my application last semester to tell me I was good for fall. By that point it was too late for my school to work with me. Of course, it didn't help that I interviewed in early May and they flat out told me a lot of spots were gone and they were overwhelmed. They garunteed me that NEVER happens. Everything for a reason though, right? I was offered vacation planner last time when I really wanted attractions - and this time I got attractions! WooHoo! Amen applying early!

AHHHHH so i just got my acceptance letter in the mail!!! I have been accepted to the Spring Advantage 2008 program in the custodial role. (yes yes people have been like...really? custodial?) but I dont care A. im in disney and B. i have heard from CP participants that it is a GREAT job. So I plan to arrive on 1/21. AHH!!! I'll see you there! Good luck to everyone else who applied!

I'm there 1/09 - wanted to get back early enough to take summer classes at my school. SEE YA THERE!
