Paint The Night will go to MK as a limited time interim parade until the brand new 50th Anniversary nighttime parade debuts in Summer of 2021.

Honestly I wouldn't mind that

The whole MSEP returning is still being discussed/rumored over on the MC board. Pretty much being debunked though due to the fact we are already into summer and it takes time to do rehearsals, etc.
I think someone claimed to have seen one of the Mushroom floats being moved... which again probably means very little, except while the bugs might go to D23, the Mushrooms wouldn’t.

It isn't, the DLR version is only 4 years old, HKDL turns 5 this year. But I rather see PTN return than the almost 50 year old MSEP.

i don't think disney ever said they were retiring the MSEP, only that it was "coming home" for a "limited time"

I’ve been told rehearsals are starting soon with an opening date in August.

They are choosing to return the old MSEP over the supposed very popular PTN, and some rumors suggest it’s to expensive and high maintenance.

GMTM has been kinda taking a hands-off approach to the Disney side of things lately, so I wasn't expecting her to comment honestly.

I'm pretty sure they will be announcing that Main Street Electrical Parade will return to the Disneyland Resort late summer/fall.
