Found this thread, don't have time to read the whole thing so, Any Update to PTN?!??!?! BETTER NOT BE IN THE TRASH!! IF IT IS, HEADS SHOULD ROLL!!!!

Sorry if I was stretching it a little but we all know what happened to Spectro and Right now Disney doesn't seem interested in PTN or MSEP(if it's still intact) which still boggles my mind.

Perhaps from the guest's standpoint. But from Disney's standpoint? It's pretty clear. They don't want to pay the talent and staff to run it.
I wouldn't be surprised to find Disney's developing a way to run a parade that's all screens, digital projections, drones, and lights... and doesn't require any human performers at all. It'll be like a water-less World of Color rolling soullessly down Main Street... extolling the virtues of "magic" and "dreams" as coldly and efficiently as possible.

Wouldn’t surprise me if WDW goes this route over a traditional light parade.
