A lifelong dream is about to come true. A friend of mine has a corporate account there and he made reservations for us to go on Tuesday.
I am so excited! I have never been and I am dying to see what it is like. We are going for dinner. I had to share my excitement with people who understand. :sohappy:

Well, it wouldn't couth to have a whole photo shoot with the flash going of every 3 secs, would it?:lookaroun:lol:

Maybe, maybe not, but that's not really my point. You said "sneak a couple of pics" which sort of implies that taking pictures in Club 33 is something that a person has to be covert about doing. I was pointing out that pictures are not, in any way, prohibited in Club 33. They are perfectly fine with people taking pictures. It's not like it's a backstage area.

In fact, people (including many on these boards) often mistakenly describe Club 33 as being "secret". It's "private" which means it's exclusive to paid members and their guests, and consequently Disney doesn't put up huge signs to draw attention to it. But there's nothing "secret" about it. Disney doesn't try to hide or deny it's existence.

If you want to argue semantics, be my guest....

That's a pretty cool opportunity. Here are some pics I got of the lobby (including yours truly in the lift) during the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour last month. I wanted to go about halfway up the stairs to get an overhead shot of the lobby, but the lady at the reception desk turned a little scary when I asked if that was kosher.

She politely but firmly requested that I stay on the lobby floor.

Our tour guide said the club employees are very "protective" of the staircase, and that management has had words with the receptionists about letting tour groups onto the stairs in the past.

Update

I went for dinner last night. It was everything I hoped for.
They gave us all 1 day park hoppers. We used them instead of our APs to enter because it activates your reservation to use the ticket.
The whole place was beautiful. Our waiter Louis was attentive, knowledgable and very nice. We watched the 9 o'clock Fantasmic! from the balcony.
My salad and chicken were delicious. The chef sent us complimentary amuse bouche. Our desserts were also wonderful. I liked the chocolate mousse the best.
They were very accomodating about pictures. It wasn't very crowded. We were there for 3 hours total and they let us take pictures everywhere. It was a great night.

That's awesome!! Glad to hear you had a great time!! Hopefully you didn't leave your camera home (especially after the incorrect information you were given about having to "sneak" some pictures).
