Just reported that a water main in Venice has broken and now people have no water and can't flush their toilets.

May I ask why might tornadoes worry you more than ones in the daylight? Is it simply the lack of natural light, etc? Just curious. Hope you don't mind me asking.
With a nighttime tornado you have no idea what is about to happen, and for some reason wind always seems to sound twice as bad at night. In the daytime you at least have a chance to see what is coming and have a better chance to take cover. Also trying to move around tornado debris is extremely difficult and dangerous on daylight and next to impossible to navigate in the dark.
The worst thing about hurricane spawned tornadoes is that they often just spin up in a matter of minutes with no time for a warning to be issued.

Really disliking the meteorologist on WESH2 talking about the eye wall moving due north, and could follow the Lake/Orange county line. That's 5-10 miles away from my Dad's house (as well as taking it just west of WDW). I had been figuring this would give him an "interesting, but not TOO interesting" story to tell." That's getting a little too close for comfort.

You know what's funny?
Wouldn't worry too much about the tornadoes if your inside a decent building away from windows. The tornadoes that hurricanes spawn typically aren't that strong. EF2 at the most. Just don't go outside. Or put your face against the window.

Now mobile home, that's another story.

It's so frustrating to be worrying about someone you love but not be able to do anything. I feel for you.
