We have a little hole in the wall place called Sam's Greek and Lebanese. It's so good.

Your post made me chuckle because I don’t tend to think of these two types of foods going together and there is a hole in the wall place called Sam’s Tacos Burgers Kebabs so then I started wondering what is it about places called Sam’s. Full disclosure: tacos here are French tacos not Mexican tacos and they are an acquired taste (I have never acquired the taste for them 😉)

The award to the oddest pairing of food types here has to go the restaurant that has an Indian and an Italian menu 🤣

😂 All of the Greek places around here are Greek and Lebanese. I believe Sam is actually from Lebanon and I don't think Sam is his real name. Either way, he sure makes some good food. But that is too funny! Your Sam's is quite a mix-up of foods! I've never heard of French tacos. I will have to look those up to see what they are.

The Wikipedia entry makes them sound better than they are. 😉

While on the Peoplemover, the fireworks started. Since we had seen the show from the California Grill, we weren't worried about getting a great view in front of the castle. It was really fun experiencing them this way.

We were off before the show was over, so we slowly made our way across the bridge out of Tomorrowland and caught a peak of the Jack puppet.

Once the fireworks ended, the masses started to exit the park. We got lucky because we walked around the hub and in front of the ice cream shop and was able to bypass a lot of people exiting and got our spot for the parade very easily.
what perfect timing!

After another late night, we most certainly were not in a rush to get going. Our main focus today was going to be the World Showcase and Food and Wine since our previous Epcot day was a washout due to Idalia. We arrived around 11:30.

On my last trip to F&W, my favorite booth was Flavors From Fire, so I was really excited to have it again specifically the smoked corned beef with chips!

We ordered 3 items. The Swine Brine drink was as good as I remembered. The steak taco was pretty good, but I was so incredibly let down by the corned beef. It was such a bummer.

I went back through my photos and found the picture from last time.

And I give you a side by side....

That doesn't even look like the same dish. The one we got looks quite pathetic compared...come on Disney.

But moving on...Josh wanted to try the Pickle Shake. :depressed:

The presentation is very Instagram worthy and you get to keep the cup.

The verdict....he LOVED it and I HATED it. To me it tasted like vinegar and vanilla. He drank the entire thing.

Every two years has more or less worked for us since 2007. The gap between trips to WDW does help build anticipation and excitement.

Great job on the report and enjoy Vegas!

Thank you for reading!!
I think it will work fine for us as well even though I would love to go yearly, LOL

That's very different....looks more like a panini or something vs a taco.

I think only because in the picture it has been half eaten or cut open. So it starts on a large flour tortilla, that then gets stuffed with things that honestly don’t go together (my DD gets hers with a “base” of chicken cordon bleu which is cut up in bite size pieces) with some sort of sauce added (there are probably at least a half dozen “standard” sauce choices, then it is folded up like a burrito, cheese sprinkled on it (I think there is also cheese inside it as well) and it is then cooked in the same sort of sandwich press you would use for panini.
