When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Rockin and rollin in the RV here in Fort Pierce. I hate it.

75+ is a pretty big range. The eye is down to 105. If you can't admit the eye changing path hasn't made things look MUCH better for Orlando, you need help.
Orlando is 55 miles inland…it takes about 100 variables to line up for it to be above a tropical storm when it gets there. It’s very rare. There’s nothing really to debate there.

It’s gonna get wet in Orlando…they’ll clean up…end of story.

There’s no point in really predicting doom and catastrophe there. I just think the operation should be closed for 3-4 days…looks like 2.5-3.5 as it stands.

Similar but not quite as stringent. The components attached to buildings also have to been products which have been tested to ensure they are not easily blown off buildings. A big concern is items becoming wind-borne which is why Disney removed or tied down items such as furniture. Guests putting patio furniture in the hallways should probably be discouraged as they’re now impeding the means of egress in case people do need to leave their rooms.
Appreciate the reassurance my man.

Everything still standing. It looks like the highest rain totals will be to the north of WDW.

Models seem to suggest the entire southern half of the storm will dry up before dawn.

Harmonious still there.
Where are you seeing that? WDW will be North of the eye. They will get the brunt of the rain. Based on the Weather Channel future radar shows a lot of rain overnight.

You do realize that’s 5-6 hours of being in red radar? Most thunderstorms that strong stick over you for <1 hour.
Of course I do. And yet it is far shorter than anticipated. It’s not hard to find estimated rain totals during that interval. It’s an amount WDW was built to handle.

About 4” of rain have fallen on WDW. A further 4-7” is predicted tonight. It’s a lot of rain but not an unprecedented amount for the parks.

If its one thing Chapek is going to save $$ on is the monthly water bill. Unless if WDW is like some of the businesses that its sprinkler system comes on even if it is raining.

It looks like the National Weather Service is projecting more -- they're saying 4" tonight, another 4+" tomorrow, and 1-2" more tomorrow night and that forecast was just updated about 15 minutes ago.
