Corless is live streaming from Animal Kingdom Lodge...
i don't do that sort of thing. Will just provide updates now and then. Such as, the AK Lodge lobby is bustling with activity. Children are dancing right now -- to Barracuda!. Other activities scheduled as shown and here is food info.

I prefer my rain from above…not sucked up from the ocean and dumped directly on land like a beer funnel…but different strokes

And I see “downplay till I look like a complete fool” instinct is strong with some/crosses discussion topics 👍🏻
Gee, it's likely going to be South of Orkando now, and MIRACULOUSLY rain forecast has dropped.

Odd...

man, as bad as these get on the coast, you can at least say it's part of the contract you sign with coastal living, and you have time to evacuate. when these things just decide to park themselves hundred+ miles inland like this could, that can cause a lot of strife that no one is prepared for.

It’s Florida…you can literally run across in in 12 hours

…ok…not really…you’d be dead.

But “paradise” has a price. Usually it’s just low pay and bad infrastructure…and sunscreen doesn’t cut it.

But on the upswing…they said this is one of the 7 strongest storms to hit Florida since 1950

72/7 = not that huge of an inconvenience. Really…
This too shall past.

The NHC has been warning about this for days, they honestly should have been prepared. I know there is this Florida thing about manning up for a hurricane but seriously, you know it’s coming days in advance. Living in a part of the country where Tornados are frequent and we get maybe 30-60 min before if you’re lucky I just have a hard time with people being unprepared.

It is the Army slogan - Hurry up and wait. Get your supplies, secure your home etc etc then sit tight , wait and ride out the storm in your home hiding in your closet away from the windows while it feels and hears like a bomb is going off.

I was just reading about that earlier today.
Insurance companies in the last 2 years for example are cancelling certain homeowner policies to limit hurricane claims exposure . When companies will actually pay out millions of dollars of claims after that it will not be pretty.
