Sure..... I was nearly run over by a car full of federal marshals driving up from Lauderdale to West Palm. And I was going over 75.

BTW, in his afternoon presser, the governor said the speed limit on the interstate was 75. So if I get pulled over by FHP, I'm going to tell them the governor said the speed limit was 75.

One of the jokes I saw was along the lines of: It's supposed to take 24 hours for Ian to travel from Sarasota to Orlando. Even hurricanes suffer the ills of I-4 traffic.

The good news is that should it hit Orlando, while it will have strong winds it will be a tropical storm. Won't be the first or last time the resort gets hit. Now let's see how many vloggers will try to live stream from somewhere in the resort as it hits. Some are already promoting they will be there tonight before it hits

This may be a stupid question, but the announcement says for everyone to check in by 3pm tomorrow....is that just for tomorrow's arrivals? What about Thursday/Friday? Operation as normal..? I have some friends who are supposed to be arriving Late Thursday night/Early Friday provided that it's possible (they are coming from SE Florida). Just trying to figure out how that is going to work for them.

If they're coming from SE FL, expect them not to be able to get there due to flooded out/impassable roads.

Definitely. I did edit my post to show the correct forecasted amount of rain. I was incorrect, it is 10-15 inches. Still catastrophic.
