Congratulations on the good grades! We knew you could do it!

Getting ready to enter the real world full time?

Yes, and still totally confused as to what to do. I've been planning all along to get into zookeeping when I graduate, but over the last few months my thoughts have turned to grad school. I'd really love to get a doctorate in Zoology, but I feel like I've really kind of missed the boat on grad school by not deciding on it until now.

Its never too late to go to grad school. If not right after graduation then the next year. My hubby graduated from college in 1980 and went to grad school starting in 1997 ish - he graduated in 2003. Hang in, you can do it if you really want to.

Bodo stands for "Being Official and Demanding Officiality"

Okay, sounds good! Once again I officially accept. Now I'm off to dinner.

I've thought about that, too. I keep trying to tell myself that. But I also keep wondering if my GPA (3.4 overall) is good enough to get me into a doctorate program, especially considering that I have no formal research experience.

A very wise person once told me... If you don't ask, the answer is no.
There is only one way to find out. Go for it! HUGGLES

*HUGGlES* Everyone.

I haven't read the new posts, but my experience tells me there probally isn't anything usefull in them. :lookaroun

I have good news!
(it dosen't include geico :lookaroun )

My school totaled up our donations for hurricne Katrina, it came out as over $5000, I did the math, and that makes about $100 a student, not factoring in the possibility of falculty contributions.

In other news, I have off form school monday. :sohappy: It's a good thing too, I think the lack of sleep, abundance of work, and stress of getting across campus to my next class in three minutes is getting to me. I could have sworn I saw a monkey climbing the flagpole during my math class. :lookaroun

Last but not least: I think I grasped the theory of time's relativity, because I know that Fundamentals of Catholism class felt like it was 4 hours long. :brick:

Well, I've had 3 minutes to get to each class since 6th grade. Then again, its just a maze of halls, not an entire campus.

The longest trip I ever need to take is second floor of Founders hall to Religion Class on the third floor of Cornwells hall. Not to mention the added problems of navigating through the upper classmen. I'm getting used to it, but I'm still not saying it's easy. In gradeschool the only place we had to go to switch classes was across the hall, here we have to get around quickly, all the while carring a 50 pound backpack.

I just counted, and although I don't know the actuall distance, it invloves 17 flights of stairs.

Ha! You need to see my school. 4 floors, over 400 classrooms and all, 4 stairwells (4 floors each) and 4-5 long hallways per-floor. We're almost at capcity and each class is getting bigger.

Its fun! :hammer:

But was yours set up and designed as a school? Our floorplan (in the old building) makes no sense due to the fact it was originally a seminary. There's lots of seemingly random rooms and hallways, and many of our classrooms were once bedrooms.

Ours is 5 or 6 years old, and the design was originally meant for a prison.
