Glad everything is ok!figmentmom said:Well, we're back from figmentdad's lasik surgery...so far, so good! My husband is NOT a good patient - but he said that the procedure was not at all painful, and was over very quickly. His eyes right now (five hours after surgery) feel scratchy, and are watering like crazy, but don't really hurt. He has three different eye drops he needs to use - an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory drops, and moisturizing drops, and he's taking Tylenol. He's supposed to wear special sunglasses to filter light for the next several days, and I'm his full-time chauffer for the next 48 hours or so. Other than that, no complaints! We're going back for a re-check tomorrow morning.
Thanks for the good wishes, all!

I can not wait to have the surgery! It will be nice to not have to wear glasses when I drive!

I forgot this part. Right before the surgery, we were talking to one of the surgeon's assistants about what to expect tonight, after we got home. My husband asked, "Will I be able to watch the Yankees win tonight?" The surgeon looked up and said, "No, you won't. You will, however, be able to watch the Red Sox win."

stranger said:Happy rainy huggles to all  . Last night my roommate and I decided to play basketball in the rain at our local park...bad idea. I ended up slipping and spraining my ankle and my roommate had to carry me home. On the brightside, I won the game.
