This lunchtime I had a close call - I was on a pedestrian crossing when some yob decided it did you apply to them, they hit me with their wing mirror and I have join the Jer Club of people who have had their foot run over by a car. Fortunately the car was taking a corner too fast and so a lot of the weight had been thrown away from the wheel that went over my foot.

Ouch!!! Did they at least stop make sure you were okay?? I've had a couple of close calls in the crosswalk by my apartment, but none that actually nicked me.

Few British motorists care enough to stop if their car is undamaged and this one was no exception, they hoofed it away so quickly I could not clearly see the last few letters of the licence plate. I phoned it in to the cops, but they had no record of it.

Fortunately nothing has gone black and blue and it's not hurting.
