Fear not, Katie - we've ALL done something similar! In ten years (OK, maybe 20), this will all be funny!

Wednesday morning huggles to ALL! (and only 23 days 'til WDW!!!!!)

Actually its not so bad now. My husband got out of the car and said " this is why she is having trouble". So I got out and he pointed to the rear flat. then he said "turn around" and the front was flat too. We were stuck in the Anthony Wayne parking lot (exit 17 on the Palisades Parkway)...no cell phone reception. Its getting late and we had to hike to find a pay phone. My BIL came to get us because we were abandoned by AAA.

ALWAYS deal with the local gararge if you can. (it doesn't hurt that the owner is a friend who knows my car inside & out). We were going to buy 2 new tires for the trip to Florida, now we'll get 4.

30 more days to WDW...I can't wait!

What are you trying to imply? *flashes his big eyes and innocent smile* :animwink:

I would never imply that my sweet, kind mother would ever make any kind of mischief! :lookaroun

Me, on the other hand... *runs off with HNA* :lookaroun

Hmmm.. I'm now 40 days away from Disneyland. But it feels weird. It feels like I'm not actually going or something. When I went to Walt Disney World last year, from the day I booked the trip to the day I went, it was a full 60 days of preparation. I mean I did so much to get the trip ready, from priority seatings to research to planning a schedule to just figuring out what to bring. The whole preparation time felt magical. But this year, it's kind of been this vast emptiness. I booked the trip and now I'm just watching the days tick off until it's time. There's nothing happening in between. It feels so different. It's like life is just going on as normal. :veryconfu

In some ways, the wait BEFORE a trip can almost be as much fun as the trip itself. In other ways, though - and guess this depends on how long you've got to wait before you actually go, how much you've got riding on the trip, etc., the wait can seem empty, like you're just waiting for something to happen. I've experienced both feelings, and it sure doesn't mean you're not going to have a great time!!! Maybe you're just a little burned-o :) ut with anticipation. Don't worry!!!
