Anyways, I've had cable for a full week now. These are the things I love the most!

TOON DISNEY!!!
Spongebob Squarepants!
TOON DISNEY!!!
Crystal clear local channels.
TOON DISNEY!!!

Cable? I thought you got DirecTV? Thats a satellite dish.

What do I like about DirecTV? I get more channels than my Cablevision could ever offer and it costs less. :sohappy:

Though I really don't need 4 spanish channels, the golf channel and about 35 music channels that I'll never listen to.

But on the upside, we get about 60 baseball games a week...not including the Yankees & Mets (who $.u.c.k.) on the local channels. Though why Katie watches the Boston games is beyond me. :hammer:

Lil'mermaid is definately a low maintenance kind of girl (if you don't count the manicures).

He is very strange looking.

I am so low maintenance it isnt funny. My hair is kept very short, so I never need to do too much to it, just kinda shake it out. Makeup is minimal. I had a guy friend who took longer to get ready to go out than I did. I can get up 10 minutes before I have to leave and be ready, makeup and all in time. My nails are all that I really take good care of.

You will find that if you keep your room picked up, you never really have to clean it....it will always be clean.

I have to keep my place picked-up, but I just hired a housekeeper at my hotel to clean my place....I just don't want to scrub the bathroom or vacuum anymore.

Try sharing a 10x10 room with a nine year old. Its NEVER clean. She randomly throws my clothes around and sits in my laundry basket.

Wish I could hire a housekeeper. One of my DH's friends proudly announced that she hired a "little Polish woman" to clean her house. My husband proudly announced "I have one of those, too". (me )

Since it is just me and the dog, my place doesn't need much cleaning. I just pay one of the housekeepers at the hotel $25 every two weeks to do a deep cleaning. I can handle vacuuming a few times a week, but I am tired of corners/baseboards. Also, she can get the shower nice and white...I just spray Tilex everywhere and rinse it a bit later

We just had an earthquake about an hour ago, it was fun!! :sohappy: It was only a 5.2, centered about 44 miles off the coast of San Diego. A fun little one. It was a really sharp, sudden boom that startled me. No damage, and business as usual goes on in San Diego, although SeaWorld did close Journey to Atlantis and the Skytower.
