Took you long enough to visit us again! :p
*Huggles and handcuffs you here*

HEY!!!!

I wish I could visit more regularly, but now that we have a new president/CEO I feel like I've been in his office more than mine. He wants to give the station a whole new image with logos, Web site, etc. Nevermind the fact that we did this less than six months ago. :brick:

Giraffe - take care of yourself and get that shoulder well.

Robyn & LilMermaid - congrats on nearing the end! :sohappy:

Roxxy - what are you doing with those handcuffs?!

disneymoc - nothing like taking those pledges and putting them to good use, eh? Out with the old and in with the new!

Thanks for the well wishes.:) I hope it's better in a few days.
It's never really good when you hear a "pop" when it happened.
The medical community seems to think it is just a bad strain. Let's hope so!

*HUGGLES* for all!

Ok. Bear with me. I will give you the PG-rated version.

I let my two dogs out this morning at around 6:45am and a couple minutes later they were going crazy (barking, growling and really mad). I went outside and the neighbor's little Chihuahua was in my yard (again). When it's owner came out...my husband told him "Keep your dog off my property" and my neighbor then said "I don't like the tone you are using with me. Maybe I should come over there and kick your ***". Well luckily my husband did not hear exactly what he said. I then said "If you can not keep your dog out of our yard then you should put it on a leash". Some other words were exchanged and then we went back inside. A couple hours later...the dog was back in our yard and even went into the area where my dogs go to the bathroom (a fenced in area, BTW). I was now really angry so I called Animal Control and told them that the neighbors dog keeps coming into my yard and dogpen and that I don't want any problems with the dog getting hurt by my dogs. They are supposed to warn the dog's owner to keep it in his yard or he will be fined for the dog being a nuisance. I'm sure this is not going to go over well with the guy. I think he is already "unbalanced". Tonight should be really interesting when my husband comes home and happens to run into him (hopefully not). I think this is just the beginning of a long summer!!!

I am just trying to look out for his dog while still giving my dogs their freedom to come in and out of the house as they please. My neighbor is just such an idiot! He is quite the "hot-head" also.

My bigger dog can not stand this dog and foams everytime he sees it!!!! He would probably tear it apart if he ever got a hold of it. I'm trying to protect us from being sued when my dog finally has a run-in with it and the outcome is less than desireable.

What drama.......................:brick:

Just keep reporting it everytime his dog gets into your yard. That way should something, god forbid, happen you can prove that you tried to prevent it. Maybe if he is fined a few times he will wake up.

We are also going to take a picture everytime we see it in the yard /dogpen so that we can "prove" it was actually in the yard (in case he tries to deny it). The digital camera has a date / time stamp on it.

This ought to really make him more angry!

I really am a nice person and neighbor UNTIL someone gets me angry and then I become ruthless!!!:drevil:

I know how someone nips it in the bud, but how does someone nip into a room.
You do it by British slang as in "Nip over the road and fetch a pint of milk for the tea".

I think the definition is something like "move quickly" but physical speed is not necessarily what it means, it more often infers a short period of time, as in "I'll just nip to the loo whilst the adverts are on".

Maybe that's what the moron is hoping will happen.

All you can do is keep reporting him. Do you have open yards next to each other or is there a fence between with a hole in it some place?

HIS yard is completely open and my backyard is open BUT I have a large elevated deck with stairs that lead to a cyclone fenced area for the dogs. My dogs are NEVER allowed to run free to wander to other peoples property.

His dog on the other hand roams wherever it wants to......:lookaroun
He is a BAD DOG PARENT!!!!!

You can get a high frequency animal scarer to turn on when your dogs are not in the yard. It has a motion sensor that activates the noise (too high for humans to hear) that sends the animal running.

My folks got one to keep the cats that out of their garden that were killing the birds.

Maybe this dog owner used to have a cat? The majority of cat owners let their cats wander outdoors at will, killing for pleasure, scratching cars and property plus defecating where they please.

I know of another cat owner who tried to keep a dog in the same way as a cat - even feeding it cat food and leaving it alone all day. They could not figure out why it had diarrhea and was miserable. She was going to take it to the pound to be destroyed but her sister took it off her hands and it's now a happy pup.

No...it's simple. He is just an idiot!

He just thinks he can do whatever he pleases. He will not think the same when his dog gets hurt.
If the dog wanders too far, especially in the evening where we live...a raccoon just may get it.
