argh...I would pay for quiet!

I live on a main thoroughfare here and they are trying to repave the ENTIRE road! It's really starting to ________ me off! First they woke me up a few weeks ago with this humongously loud pounding sound, then because the roads are uneven, they cause me to get a rip in my tire (which luckily is just a cosmetic rip...no need for a new one), and then this morning I get to hear more construction!

I will be VERY happy when all of this is done because it seems like they are doing construction on just about every road in my area!
