How would a Disney imagineer screw in a light bulb?

Very Carefully... however, by the time the Imagineer's Lightbulb actually made it to the socket, his Halogen bulb would be reduced to a 30 watt bulb.:hammer:

They would create a very elaborate Queue area throughout Different time periods and means of lighting surroundings til you finally arrive at a Fast Pass machine, then upon re-entering, you would watch a cool preshow with neat AA characters explaining the history of the Lightbulb, finally you would be lead into a large room with a large river and single lamp on the other side. Your objective would be to take the lightbulb over to the lamp and successfully screw it in. After a slow moving boat ride you complete the task and feel great about doing it. Since this attraction would not need to be done often, it would be open seasonally in reverse, only when the park is not crowded to help compensate for TimeKeeper and CoP being closed.

They would decide that the lamp was completely broken and utterly useless (even though all it needed was a new bulb) at which point they would take the lamp, surround it with big giant walls, and spend 2 years "fixing" it. In the end, the walls would be taken down and we would no longer have a lamp, but instead something totally different.

Oh wait...this is how Disney management would change a light bulb....my bad...

They would take small children by the hand, carefully step onto the moving platform and screw in the lightbulb at the same speed as their vehicle.

But you forgot...like all ideas that imagineers have...a perfectly good storyline would be taking place...and then...when you least expect it...something would go wrong...(like a power outage) and then you'd have to go in and turn the power back on...or change a fuse...before you could get to the happy ending

Me three... Great graphics. I couldn't let it go when I first bought it. It went everywhere (much like Linus and his blanket). Real nice book. And I can't believe it was actually "official"! Disney releasing all of those pics...

I was about to say 'Does it have to be a lightbulb?' is the official WDI answer to that question, then I saw that someone else had already said that. :) I love the answer about the immersive lightbulb experience, that was classic!
