How to get to Boma?

I want to experience this fabulous breakfast at Boma (and other resort restaurants too), but I can't come up with a reasonable way to get from our hotel (CSR) to Animal Kingdom Lodge without it taking three years. Other than having a car, what is your best strategy for getting from one resort to another?

To be very honest what we would do is take a taxi. If that is not your thing then there are not many other options that will not take you right around an hour. I would head to the park that is has EMH and then hop a bus to AKL. Our maybe try sweet taking the CM out front of your resort and see if they will take you. We have gotten luck before.

We did the bus thing last year from CBR. We took it to Animal Kingdom then a bus over to AKL. We did dinner though so bus schedules were not an issue. It did take some time but didn't seem too bad.

Using Disney transport, you are going to have to rely on buses. It's a short distance though, so I would just hop in a taxi to get there. You'd only need it one way I would imagine since you can go right to a park from AKL when you are done eating.

For early morning I would go with a cab. Time will be only around 10-15 minutes and cost will be under $15.

A cab will be the most stress free way to get to Boma.
Busses can be unreliable and take way more time. Plus if it's an early breakfast...some busses may not even be running.

What time is your reservation? If AK is already open, you can take a bus there and then a bus to AKL.
If it isn't open yet, take a bus to which ever park has EMH and then take the AKL bus.
I usually eat dinner at Boma, so I just head there at the end of my AK day.

I have to agree with Master Yoda, and take a taxi.

We have taken the bus before, and it took an hour. We got up almost 2 hours before our reservations, then waited and waited for a bus. Finally, one came by to take us to Animal Kingdom. Then we had to walk to the other side of the bus depot and wait and wait again for another bus to take us to Animal Kingdom Lodge. I hate being late, so I was getting stressed! Then the stopped by the DVC at Animal Kingdom, then went to the lodge. I was so stressed because it took so long, I was hungry, and we were late.

Since, we just took a taxi. It's a vacation, no reason to stress.

Take a bus to Animal Kingdom and from there take a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's actually in a rather straight line so it won't take you to long. Still, give yourself plenty of time. Cabs would be the fastest option as long as you're willing to spend the money. Just call the front desk about 5-10min. before you're ready to leave and they'll call for you. Or you can call yourself. cheapest easiest way is bus to AK park then hop on the bus to AKL. Once onboard, it will literally take to 2-3 minutes to get to the lodge.

The quickest and easiest way to do it is to take a bus from your Hotel to Animal Kingdom park and then hop on the bus from Animal Kingdom park to Jambo House. It's like a 3 min bus ride from Animal Kingdom Park to the Hotel :>) :sohappy::wave:
