We, 2 adults, usually budget for spending about £100 a day (around $200) for everything such as food, attractions etc but not including park tickets, accomodation etc which are always pre-paid.

To date we have never spent the full amount. In reality it's much closer to $100 a day. Especially in Disney World as other than food, there isn't alot we spend money on.

I generally have US$200-300 in cash. But I charge most things to the room and ultimately to my credit card. So my budget is more in the range of US$1,000-3,000 for an eight night stay, less if I'm on Dining Plan.

We generally budget between $200-300 a day if not on the DDP. Now that we typically use the DDP when we go, the dollar amount we spend per day has went down drastically. With the DDP I budget about $100-$150 a day, which we usually don't spend that much, unless we are buying souvears.

last yr when we went we had like 600.00 in cash on us, accomidations, DD, & park tickets were already done. The cash is just more of a safety net in cash we come across some place that does not accept CC.and I would say we usually come back home with about 200-250 that we just put back in the bank.

We never have had the meal plan, wanted to go for free dining this year but it is not going to happen....:(. However, we usually take snack items and some breakfast foods with us and we will also order off the kids menu, so we usually budget only 75 dollars a day for food. I can't even think of a time recently when we have gone over that amount. If we have the whole brood with us that is a differnet story altogether and 75 a day would be blown out of the water. But for the two of us it works out great. Some days we spend more than others, depending on where (or if) we have a sit down dinner. Last trip we ate a few meals at DTD, the rest of the time we suffer at Casey's or Pecos Bills....yummy!

Luckily we have the same taste in souveniers. We tend to get posters to frame for our "disney" room or a figurine, clock or something along those lines. We pick one or two items and buy them if we want, other than that we have the mandatory Grumpy merchandise we MUST buy each trip, for the "grumpy" that lives here. We can go on the cheap and have a great time.

There are 3 of us and we eat breakfast in our room and allow $75 a day approximately for food. If we eat lunch in the parks, then we eat dinner outside. Also if we plan for a Character meal, that money is set aside separate from daily food. If our Character meal is mid day we usually are too full for dinner. We do not charge on vacation.

We budget between 200 and 300 dollars each day. We don't spend the full amount each day but anything we don't spend we save and then blow it all on our final day :D

I have a family of 6 so for food alone, without the dining plan, we usually spend about $150 -$200 a day. That's with a CS breakfast and lunch and a TS dinner and snacks. If we eat breakfast in our room and bring snacks to the parks that amount goes down a bit. What you spend on souvenirs is entirely different for each person, we don't buy a ton of stuff but I figure about we spend about $200-$300 total for all of us

We're the same way..Buy some milk put in fridge or cooler have cereal or donuts in room for breakfast. When ordering from the childrens menu I've noticed you get a lot for your money..However we've been using the dining plan but still take our breakfast items and use credits for L and D..We took 100 a day for 10 days that's w/o food..

We do about $200 a day as well. Even when on the dining plan - b/c you have to pay for drinkipoos and tip - and souvenirs - and I would rather over budget each day then get back home with a huge bill.

When hubby and I went this past March....we took $1000 cash for the 8 days we were there. Since we were not on the dining plan we probably spent anywhere between $50 - $100 on food each day...we had some Character Meals etc. Our son was only 17 months at the time...and he ate from our plates. Depending where we ate...i would get a kids meal for him. Between hubby and I we'd take about $200 with us to the park each day...we would never really spend all that but just in case. We'll be going again in sept with free dining! =D yay! So this time we'll spend a lot less on food! I did the math on what we spent...and it added up to over $600 bucks for the 8 days we were there...& that just included FOOD! This time around we'll have more money to spend on souvies!!:ROFLOL:

My husband and I usually get the dining plan, so we don't bring a lot of spending money. We usually bring about $200 cash for tips or cash-only joints, and then I get a prepaid VISA for each of us with $200-$300 dollars on it.

One thing you can do to help cut down the $$ you spend is share meals. My Mom, daughter, & I go together twice a year and we found out that usually two meals will feed the three of us instead of us each getting our own. But we usually spend around $20-30 dollars on breakfast alone at our hotel and that's the quick service. For dinner we just hit one of the Counter service joints and usually spend about $30, a hot dog with fries and a drink in Epcot in the American pavillion cost me just over $10. And we did try Tony's (table service) at the MK this past trip and the bill was $50 for three of us (we all did get our own meals, and daugter even ordered off of kids menu) What really adds up is the amount of drinks you buy during the day. Bottle water and soda are about $2.50 at the stands around the parks and when you're getting two drinks every few hours it adds up in a day. I was just there June 9-14 and those were the prices I was spending. I couldn't tell you exactly what was spent a day though, because my mom was paying. Magicalkingdoms.com list menu prices, so this can also help you plan....good luck.
