How many pins do you have?

I have 3 books, one for just Disney pins, one for Star Wars related ones (bought from Disney of course) and a third one for any macabre ones: Haunted Mansion, Nightmare Before Christmas, etc.

My wife has about two books and then a plastic container full of pins.

DH and I are more into pin collecting for the chance to talk with CMs. The metal things are nice and all - especially when we find a rare one! - but we get the most fun and enjoyment out of our interaction with the CMs we're trading with!

I'd say we have about 20 each now. The next visit we'll probably buy 10 or so more a piece and trade those.

My wife and I have only traded with Cast Members. I always feel weird asking a fellow Guest to trade.

Any pins that feature extinct attractions or pieces of history.

we have about 30. we went crazy with them last trip since we really got into trading and collecting them i will probaly get some moe on my next trip in a couple of weeks.

I have enough to keep me happy at the present - maybe 20 or 30 Disney-related pins. I want more though!

Now if we are counting Star Wars or Hard Rock Cafe pins - WAAAAY TOO MANY!

Somewhere between 200 and 250. I moved over the summer, haven't finished unpacking all the boxes where I stashed my pins, and have been buying at least two on every trip to Disney. Which is about 2 or 3 times a month. Soooo... it's growing rapidly.

I like to get pin lots on eBay for traders. Or, at the CM sale they have twice a year, they usually sell a bag of 10 'mystery pins' for $10. Sometimes there's a find in there, but they make great traders.
