Talking about there being one mickey mouse is like talking about other fictitious characters, if you were looking for a real answer, I doubt anybody is going to post seriously on these forums.

I guess I'll reply seriously, while maintaining a tiny bit of magic for the 8-year-olds that people seem to think visit the boards, or the teens and adults that apparently have wool over their eyes.

49 is kind of a random number for someone to have told you. There could be any number of instances of any certain furry friend at any given time. It varies greatly, depending on if any parades are running; how many character meals are underway; how many meet-n-greets are active; and any number of other factors.

But, as others said, there really is only one Mickey Mouse (in our hearts, at least) :)

Well, in theory, there SHOULDN'T be kids that young on this site. That wouldn't be very responsible of a parent to let their young child browse the web - especially social networking sites and bulletin boards. So, I don't feel THAT bad discussing reality. :)
