Well, the stars aligned, and although I did not have a trip booked until 1pm this morning, I am now going to WDW in 4 days :sohappy:
Realizing that October 1 fell on a Saturday, and I had an old Southwest credit lingering, I just had to see if I could make it work. Southwest flight was free with credit (I'm shocked low fares were left). Alamo rental car was $25 for Friday night through Sunday morning. And I booked the Sheraton Safari by bidding on Priceline for $40 a night.
My birthday is in October, so family will be covering my 1-day ticket to MK on Saturday. Oh, and my flight arrives at 5 on Friday, so I splurged and bought a ticket to MNSSHP!
The whole trip is costing me about $150, and I will relish every moment of my weekend getaway
