Unfortunately, lots of other people already know this. Be prepared for a wait. I've waited close to an hour on a non-peak weekend. Hope it's shorter for you.

Ergens2 said:Yeah, I would say about 20 min from Riverside and about 15 from French Quarter. I have stayed at Port Orleans about half of my overall 50 trips to Disney. It is a must. Very romantic!!
Thorphin said:As others have already said, it a fun little cruise, and as always, the pilots are nice and friendly. I will add that we've always ridden the boat in June with little to no wait whatsoever, leaving from the dock at Riverside, but it was indeed around dinner time. On your journey, for you longtime WDW fans, don't forget to keep a lookout for the Treehouse Villas, on your left on your way to DTD. I believe they are still used, but I believe only for VIPs.
mrtoad said:I don't think they are still used now, but we were on the boat early this year and the skipper said something about them being used again soon. I did not catch it all because I was playing with my 3 year old.
Thorphin said:Awww!hehe Anyway, that's what they said in 2002, but they are getting old so I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped using them. At least they are a bit of nostalgia still there (for now). They remind me of another stop on the jungle cruise. I'm weird though.

symbasys said:Last time we rode the boat to DTD from POFQ, I'm pretty sure the skipper said the Treehouse Villas had at one time become part of the Disney Institute, and that now they were going to be renovated and included as a part of Saratoga Springs. Has anyone else heard that?
