How long is the "just right" amount of time for a WDW visit for you?

I think for the most part, the average stay is about a week - 7 days/6 nights. For us, I think our average is 8 days/7 nights, and generally by the time we're 4-5 days in we're well into repeats of rides and attractions (with no complaints, I might add) and have already seen all the things we want to do. Usually at trip's end we hate to have to leave, but it does feel like time to go. How long, to you, is the "just right" length of time for a Disney trip? (I envy those who can do the 10-14 day trips.)

If you go during the slowest, less busy times, you might could get away with as little as 4 - 5 days!

If you go during the busiest time, you definitely want at least a week!

It really all depends. In the past we've stayed up to 7 days 6 nights, but that's with tweens. Now that we're going with our newest addition (6 month old Cassidy) things will be different and we will be going at a slower pace. We are there for 9 nights with an 8 day hopper (we don't do the parks on the first day - we fly in, food shop, get situated, maybe swim and def take a stroll around the lagoon). We stay at the Dolphin. Then we are all rested up for Sunday at EPCOT.
I am a little worried that 9 nights may be too long for our 6 month old, but as my husband says, "Cassidy will sleep anywhere - She's 6 months old." Here's hoping. lol
We did a 5 day park hopper once and it didn't seem like it was enough. The extra day or two makes a difference. You don't feel like you're jamming everything into a few days.

Also, we also hate to leave, but agree that it's time to go HOME, too :)
