how long is it from the world to panama city beach

my friends and i are hopefully going to disney for spring break, but a few of my friends are going to pana city beach and want us to come down for the rest of break. my ? is how far is it from disney and is it worth it. ive been to spring break all over florida, california,mexico,bahamas,jamacia,exc. so wildness is not a factor since we will not party and only go to the concerts mtv is throwing. also it is chaparoned

I would be safe to say about 6-7 hours depending on traffic and how you drive

I'd go with 7 hours. For me that stretch when you get off the interstate on down to the coast seems like it will never, ever end.

Personally, I would skip it and spend more time at Disney. Panama City Beach is not the best that Florida has to offer... it's close to the worst in my book. The last time I was there the beach was nasty and had a sulfur smell. We couldn't stand to be on the beach because of it. :hurl:

From Downtown Disney to Panama City Beach is 390-395 miles via north on I75 to I10 west, to 231. Roughly 6-hours according to Streets & Trips

and is it worth it.

I live about 90 miles north of PCB. in So Ala. The estimates above are correct. Plan on 6-7 hours. And it gets really crowded and crazy during spring break. Panama City is really trying to get rid of the spring break crowds. Most hotels you must be 25 or older to rent a room. And a lot of the hotels have been torn down and replaced by high rise condos. They are trying to become a resort town. If you think you must go, then do it. But I wouldn't. I was never a party person when I was younger, and am married w/ a child now, so it definitely doesn't appeal to me. I would take a trip to Disney over the beach anyday.
