How long have you've been a WDW fan?

Well for me I went when I was 5 in 1980 but I was to young to know how much of a impression it made on me. But in 87 I made it back and then met one of my true loves Epcot. Since then I could not wait to return finally, I made it back on my honeymoon and have made regular visits ever since then and my obsession only seems to grow.

I actually HATED Disney World on my first trip.
I was in 3rd grade and our first ride was "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" and it absolutely TERRIFIED me. I was scared to ride everything. Even Peter Pan's flight. Shockingly I was not scared of Spaceship Earth and therefore it was my favorite ride because it was a "big kid ride that I ride" :D

I even went again in 7th grade and still didn't ride much. It wasn't until my trip in 10th grade when my sister and I both took friends and my friend Kate was a bit unstable and her EX boyfriend went on a date with someone else and she WANTED TO LEAVE DISNEY WORLD. And her mom was cool with it so she left. And my family felt so bad that she left so 1 person would always sit out with me on stuff I didn't want to ride. I was sick of it and I finally rode something (Space Mountain) and fell in love.

I get more obsessed every day!!! It's hard to think that this once non-believer (shun!) is now a full blown Disney fanatic!!

late bloomer here... 2010. I have been 5 or so times as a kid but my parents brought us "because that's what parents do".

There were no ADR's, no plans for the trip, no amping us kids up. I will feel bad for my future children.

I would say 40 years. My first trip was when I was 10 in 1975 but I had been wanting to go for at least 3 years prior to that and had asked to go and finally my mother had convinced my father to take us. We drove from where we lived at the time in Bloomington, MN. Due to my father not being a huge fan we did alot other than just WDW going to Cape Canaveral and the beach but we did spend two days at the Polynesian and we rode nearly every ride in the park including multiple times on Space Mountian despite the huge lines. I think I round SM 5 times that trip, once with my family waiting 2.5 hours and 4 times by myself in the single rider line.

I always loved Disney Movies. When I was about 4 or 5 I was obsessed with Sleeping Beauty.
We had these big colorful hardcover Disney storybooks, that showed all the tales, and a subscription to a Disneyland magazine, that I vaguely remember.

Around the same time I became a Theme Park Fanatic, I think. I had the Disneyland book in the above collection, and a View Master set of Disneyland, where I could see what was inside Sleeping Beauty's Castle, and dream about IASW, and the Tiki Room.

I didn't actually get to visit a Disney park (WDW) until I was 13, but I was already pretty much in love.
