How good is the food at Mama Melrose, really???

Had lunch there a few months ago. Mediocre food at best in terms of taste. And then it made me sick causing me to have to miss my California Grill dinner reservation, so definitely never going back

Just ate at Mama Melrose's on 01/04/10, after reading the reviews on here I was a little bit nervous. But the food was among the best Italian I have ever had. Guests with us said it was comparable to food actually served in Italy. Our server was very good as well...so no complaints about the service. Despite what you read on here it is important to try it for yourself, Enjoy

This is one of our favorite stops! We always have the chicken parm as well and absolutely love it. It is 100 times better than Olive Garden, whose chicken parm tastes like a frozen TV dinner to me.

I've always had a positive experience dining at this restaurant. Also, I have had decent service, I wouldn't say exceptional, but its never been terrible. To each their own! I do think its worth a try though!
