Hello All, I will be staying at AKL (Jambo House) the week of Feb 5th-13th,2011 and in the process of making my ADR's. I have eaten at Boma & Jiko and they are both great. I have not tried Sanaa yet. How does it compare with the other two. I may be going solo- would I feel comfortable? Also I may have the chance to book @ Le Cellier but may have to go solo (earlier dinner about 4:45PM) on a Tuesday night-would I be comfortable? WDW Dine told me I should be fine and I was lucky to get the ADR as it is one of the hardest to get-even for solo people. Thanks again for any feedback.:)

I enjoyed it. My wife enjoyed it too, and she is a "picky" eater. Great food and atmosphere in my opinion.

Can't comment on solo dinning, have never done it at WDW. I know that if I was next to a solo dinner, I would not think any thing was "weird" about it. You shouldn't worry about it.

Solo dining is not a concern. Ask for a table by the window and watch the animals.

The food is great. A lot of Indian people were emigrating to Africa in the 30s and 40s. They stayed and a culture developed. The food from that culture is Indian, but with an African twist.

As an Indian person, I wasn't expecting to be impressed. I thought I would be able to make most of the stuff on the menu myself. I was wrong. The food was amazing and I am so glad I went there.

The bread service sounds so ordinary, but it was one of the best things I have ever eaten.

We ate here in July and thought it was awesome. The food was very good, the service and ambiance was excellent. They even gave us a champagne toast "on Mickey" since we were on our honeymoon. I had the vegetarian sampler and my husband had the sustainable fish.

Hands down, the dessert (the sampler) that we had at Sanaa was the best we had all week - and we ate at some really nice restaurants!

We will certainly be back next trip - highly recommended!

I fully expect Sanaa to go signature dining in the long run. Its just an extremely nice restaurant with a fantastic menu and the views are killer. Our server was the best we had the whole trip and that's saying something considering how great the service is generally across WDW.

They have a loose tea menu as well that is connected to the dessert menu. My friend drinks hot tea with her meals so we had to ask for it early. The sampler with the short ribs and curry are amazing. The shrimp curry was one of the best foods I had on the trip. I would suggest trying to get the first seating of the evening for dinner, ours was at 5:00 which is when they open. They had a drumming ceremony before they opened and it was very neat.

this is one restaurant that you wont want to miss.

I thoroughly enjoyed Sanaa and would highly recommend it. If you are someone who is adventurous and likes to try different types of cuisine, this is definitely a good restaurant for you. One thing that really stood out to me about the food was the tremendous flavor of everything and the way different flavors complimented and contrasted each other throughout the meal. It was certainly an adventure for the taste buds (but I found on the whole that most of the food was not overly spicy). Another great thing about Sanaa is its atmosphere. Having the windows overlooking the savannah is amazing, but the decor of the restaurant is also tremendous. You can check out my blog to see a detailed review of Sanaa:

Sanaa provided the best dining experience we have ever had at WDW and that's saying something. The service was the best I've had in my lifetime. The view was amazing. Not only do you overlook the savanah but you are level with the ground. So giraffes are looking down at you! The food was amazing! So much flavour. Such good value for the price. I would go back just for the bread service alone!

I echo what a previous poster said about going at opening. We got there before they even opened for dinner service and enjoyed a drink at the bar while we waited for our ADR. We got to see the drumming ceremony which was really neat. Apparently, you can also take a free tour of the restaurant around 4 pm on most days that ends with a tasting. That might be worth checking out.

If I were a solo diner, I would definitely go here because you have something to watch while you're waiting for your food.

We loved Boma but Sanaa blows Boma out of the water. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant on property and should not be missed.

A new addition to my favorite places to eat at WDW. The food is so good. Had the Bread Service, Seared Scallops App, and for dinner the Short Ribs and Shrimp Curry.

What I really liked was that our server told us that the food has been tamed down for the American palate, but the chef would spice it up if we liked. I asked him to tell the chef to prepare the food as it should be prepared. It did have a kick, but was still fantastic.

I am another fan of this restarurant. Tried it for lunch in January and will be there on Wednesday for dinner. The food is delicious and shows that Disney can have a restaurant without a dumbed down menu.
