How do you travel to Disney World?

We drive from Tennessee.

About 10 hours, 2 adults, 2 small kids in a minivan.

A 9 in TV/VCR with 10 or 12 Disney movies makes it a fun drive (for the kids).

Since you live so close, how often do you go to Disney????

The last time I went to WDW was in '99. And that was only because I won the trip in a sweepstakes.

It's a long trip to me since I live in South America. I need to take a plane which lasts 8 hours to Miami International, then grab a car at Alamo and 4 hours driving to Orlando. It's all worthy since at the end of the line is WDW.

Driving from West Palm...I can do it in about an hour if i really leave some black marks on the Turnpike (hope my parents don't read this board :p) It should take about 2 or 3 hours from where I'm at to get there but I'm a teenager so it goes by a little quicker.

I fly. It's about a 3 hour flight, and I love flying :) As opposed to driving, which I totally hate. We (me, 2 parents, 2 brothers, and a cousin) drove from midwest Georgia to Orlando, and even that took to long (I'm not even sure how long it ook), so a 24 hour drive would NOT be the least bit fun for me, especially with my brothers

Sometimes we drive... sometimes we fly

We've been to WDW 14 times. Out of these we flew 5 times but drove 9 times.

We are from Montreal about 5 or 6 hours north of NYC. We usually take I-81 in NewYork, Pa, Md, Va and then switch to I-95 close to Fredericksburg in Va.

We're crazy, because most of the time we drive it straight from Montreal to Disney World in about 24 hours. I f we rent a car with a V6 engine we even beat the 24 hour mark by say half-an-hour to an hour. So our record is 23 hours.... fiew! We are 2 drivers at least.

We fly different way. Non-stop from Montreal on a charter type of flight, takes 4 hours. With Delta, we need to take a flight down to Atlanta and then a second one to Orlando. Usually we do his run in about 6-7 hours. Leave MTL at 8:00 AM arrive in Orlando at around 2:00 PM.

I guess we're Disney lovers

My wife and myself drive every year. It usually takes us 17 hours. But we take two days to do it. On the first day we stop in Macon, Georgia. The next day we are on Disney property in 5 hrs.

Hey Bongo,
You make it from Montreal in 24 hours??? We live in Watertown, NY, which is about 30 min from the border, about an hour from Kingston right off of 81. We were going to take 81 as well, but we thought it would take us 24 from here. Do you really think we could make it in less time? How fast do you drive? Do you stop? Any tips would be great!

Man, and I thought my 40 minutes from Tampa was breaking some speed records. Remind me to tuck in behind you on your next trip.
