How dare they!

Okay, I'm REALLY glad that the OP was being facetious. Because, honestly if someone would seriously be UPSET that a CM would let them ride Splash ahead of the line, I would tell them that they are an idiot. When it got to that point in the story, I wondered if the OP was being serious or not.

Wow I just dismissed it out of hand at first too....

You got me. Didn't figure it out until the third time someone said it was a joke.

Sad part was I was trying to figure out how someone could have possibly taken that many 'bad' turns at things....

(sigh)

It's been a long day. Back to lurking.:xmas:

 You had me going there until the Fastpass incident. I mean, who in their right mind would complain about something like that? :lookaroun

Great little post, though its causing quite a bit of confusion.

Ok, time for me to chime in. Everything I wrote about did happen (except paying the double admission. I'm not that stupid!) As many of you guessed I wrote this to show just how absurd the nit picking and complaining on this forum has gotten. I also wanted to show how you could twist an experience or post to get the reactions your looking for to help support your claims.

Yes Walt Disney World is making cut backs. Yes there are instances where changes are not for the better. But you have to take the good with the bad! Sure Stitch is over utilized but at least Disney is still putting money into an interactive show that will make them no immediate profit.

It's okay to voice your opinion on the current state of WDW but don't act like everything Disney does is a turn for the worst or walmarting. There is other examples that show otherwise.

But then again, who knows? Maybe Walt Disney World was a much better quality experience in 1974. :hammer:

To some, it would seem so.

I will admit it had me going until he paid a full days admission for two hours...from there on it was brilliant.
I guess at this point noting would surprise me in the realms of complaining and whining which is why I fell for it hook line and sinker. I kid you not I have seen people complaining at guest services that they have to pay full price to get into the parks later in the day only to shell out the money to do so. I have seen guests get flat out vicious with CM's that asked to see their wrist bands at EMH. On this board there was a member who felt that his childhood had been raped because the spider scene in HM was replaced with the stairs. Yet another was utterly depressed because of Millionaire's removal. As sick as it sounds I could see a person writing a post like the OP and it be completely legitimate.

The sad thing is there are people who would say that and be dead serious. We all remember the one who's name shall not be spoken and how he would go on and on about the slightest most insignificant detail and how it ruined his life. (remember the page long rants about parking?)

Hey! Watch what you're saying, Pal...

What do you have against those page long rants about parking and paint chips?

:fork:

He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named was an incredible contributor to this site with little to nothing to offer these forums but hot air and little boy temper tantrums!

There is a great thread in "Chit Chat" called "Obnoxious Posting Styles" that may be a better place for satire like this. I thought the post was hilarious, BTW!
